Tacticon Red Dot Magnifier Combo | Falcon V1 3X Red Dot Magnifier and Predator V3 Micro Red Dot Sight Combo | Combat Veteran Owned Company | Red Dot Scope Magnifier

Got my Predator v3 micro red dot and Falcon V1 3X magnifier combo and was excited to open it and impressed with the craftsmanship. The red dot is solidly made, even comes with 2 batteries to start off with. It also comes with 2 additional mounting options. The default is the standard mount the second is a riser mount (which you need if you are running the magnifier. The third is a 45 degree off set mount. The magnifier can be mounted in either direction where you can flip it left or right. I chose to flip it to the right as when I sling the rifle the left side is against me. This makes the push button to flip open or closed be on the right and facing forward, not too bad at all. You must push the button to either flip the magnifier open or closed which I prefer to prevent accident deployment or retraction. The American Flag CNC machines into the magnifier is also a nice touch. Make sure you tighten the mounting screws down right and you'll be fine, there is a very very slight wobble in th magnifier but that should be expected since it's a floppy bit designed to move. The hold is sold when closed and doesn't mess with your sighting at all. The wobble is a bit more noticeable when the magnifier is open but that should be expected since it's hanging out in space out of the way, it's only noticable when doing a light jog with the firearm. Over all, very high quality product, life time guarantee and couldn't recommend this product more.

The installation process is a breeze and the products are of good quality. Will definitely do business with Tacticon for all my future tacticool needs. Also, for the quality, it’s priced reasonably and at much lower prices than your big named/corporate brands. (Note: I have not yet tested the sight/optic at a range yet.) At the end of the day, just about everything is made in China. So you can either go with the big corporate brand and pay exorbitant prices, or go with a private and veteran owned business at reasonable and fair prices. One caveat of negativity and or warning, when dealing with the Red Dot Sight, is be careful to not unscrew it too much. I accidentally did that and its two springs and nut/bolt popped right off. I lost the nut/bolt that helps secure the dot onto the rail. It just has screw sticking out at the other end.

I received this product and inside the package was a hand written letter from the owner expressing his gratitude for my purchase. I have not yet used this product however I have bought and used another one of their products. It functioned phenomenally with no issues. There are clear and easy instructions for new users. The sights are heavy duty and built to last. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. I would recommend this to anyone who is on the fence about buying it. Tacticon Armament has the best customer service. They will do their best to solve any of your problems regarding their products.

Have had this for a couple years now. It works ok. I recently shot my rifle and now have black specs inside it. Filled out a warranty claim form on the site and received no response. I then had to send a email directly only to be told it's out of warranty even though the problem is inside. Now I have to buy a new scope. I will just get a Sig Sauer LPVO to replace it.

I dont normally write reviews for products i purchase however this sight combo was the exception. They are extremely well made with rigid mounts that hold zero properly. On top of that its a small business owned by a retired veteran! What more can you ask for. I searched for so long to find a nice magnifier sight combo and this being the best price was the perfect option. On top of all this, the owner himself wrote a handwritten letter and expedited the shipping at no additional charge! I will definitely be purchasing other products from this seller if this product is indicative of their quality.

I will start with the super-positive, I received my order with a "personal" note from the owner of Tacticon and, while it may have been a copy, it showed that the company and owner care. It was a simple note thanking me for my purchase, letting me know that they upgrade the shipping for me and asking me for an honest review after receiving my items. Again, it may not have actually been hand written specifically JUST for me but it was an extra step that wasn't necessary either and they chose to do it. I'm looking for more items I can purchase from them to continue to support a company that will make this type of an extra step. So, now to the review..... When I ordered, I wasn't sure what to expect. With the price point of this combo, I wasn't expecting much BUT, and this is a big BUT, I was pleasantly surprised. I have not had a chance to go to the range yet as I just received them yesterday but the build quality and function seems to be hitting above it's price range. I took the time to install both on my rifle just to get a fit and feel and am very happy with the purchase. Both pieces were sturdy and finished nicely, not cheap feeling in any way. Initially the flip button on the magnifier was a little "gritty" and stiff but after taking a couple of minutes to work the button, it did smooth out a little leading me to believe that, with a little lube, it should be smooth as silk and easy to manipulate when needed. The red dot itself was very sharp and clear but man, 11 seetings may be a little much as beyond 6 or 7, it becomes almost too much. The glass on both was crystal clear with no noticeable blemishes or dullness. And, when looking through both, everything was sharp and easy to view. If I had a complaint, it's that the eye relief for the magnifier could be a little better. I'm trying to determine if I can make this work for me. On the Mfg. page it is stated at 2 1/2 inches and that's about right and feels even closer when on the rifle. Past that, the outside edges start closing in quickly. Also, and not a big deal, there was one tiny, pin head size, chip in the finish but no enough to cause any concern for me. These 2 items are why I didn't give it 5 stars. All in all, I'm very impressed with the quality and finish for such a budget combo and will provide additional details after actual use. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase other items from this company because of the quality and the thoughtfulness shown with the note and shipping upgrade.
