Finally an alternative for Fancy Feast Gravy Lover!
I have spent hundreds of dollars on canned cat food trying to find something my Persian cats would eat other than Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers (which is not a high quality food.) The Weruva stew line did the trick! This formulation is great for flat faced cats because they can lap it up easily without making a mess. (They only really licked the gravy off gravy lovers anyway.) It smells absolutely horrible - way worse than Fancy Feast. But I can live with it since itās so much healthier. In fact, one of my cats who used vomit several times a week almost never does now, and his coat looks much healthier! It did take the catsā stomachs a few days to adjust, and there are a couple of fish-forward flavors that donāt seem to set right with them (but this could be because they never ate fish flavors of the Gravy Lovers.)But Goody Stew Shoes, Taco Stewsday, and Stewbacca provide enough variety for them and donāt cause any stomach issues. Plus, the names make me chuckle every time.

My Cats Love the Variety of Flavors
I order Weruva cat food because it is healthy for my two cats - one is feral and lives outside. She loves eating this because it has a lot of liquid and the food comes in different flavors. My indoor cat loves most Weruva flavors. She doesn't drink water, and gets her liquid from the food. Weruva is grain-free, gluten-free and carrageenan-free. The foods come in gravy, or pate and other styles. Mine both love the gravy for the higher liquid ratio.

Where's the chicken & salmon?
Looks like just gravy. Not a single mince in the 2 cans the cat ate. This doesn't look like any of the other products by this company.

Definitely worth trying
At first I thought my cats werenāt going to eat this bc they didnāt attack the bowl when I first put it down, but I left it out for them and they licked it clean. Definitely more of a soupy or stew texture than other wet foods which I think might have thrown them off at first. Now they both continue to clean their bowls with this one and havenāt lost interest in it after the first 10 cans so itās a winning brand in my book. Neither of them have thrown it up or had sensitive stomach issues with it which is usually a major concern of mine when trying new foods. Older cat and younger cat both enjoy it.

Not my idea of a stew!
Man, this stuff is RUNNY! It's mostly a thin sauce, with very tiny bits of something floating in it. Some cats might like it, but it seems to me more like a gravy enhancer to use over a dry food. This is so liquid, you have to be careful opening the can to make sure it doesn't slop all over you.And it's not inexpensive.I'll not be ordering again.
