It's a must for anyone who uses an electric airer.
I'm new to this electric clothes air dryer thing. My OH who is in charge of washing (her choice) only uses the tumble drier for bathroom towels and bedding or when she needs to get things dried quickly but much of the time will dry everything outdoors but when the weather is bad or in winter she uses a non electric dryer set up in the bathroom which takes about two days to get the washing dried properly. Due to the time it takes to dry the washing, to speed things up I thought I'd buy an electric dryer and obviously a cover to fit it and this cover fits the Addis airer perfectly (sold also by LIDL). The cover itself is made from a material similar to that of a cagoul with vents to allow moisture to escape. It's sturdy enough but I was sceptical at first that it would actually work but to be fair the cover definitely does speed drying up so it was a good investment to be used alongside an electric clothes airer and makes best use of the energy used to heat the airer. One thing I'd advise based on use so far is to turn/rotate the washing every few hours when using an electric air dryer to ensure that all areas of the garment etc are exposed to the heated rails. Don't just drape them over the rails then walk away and expect it to be dry in a couple of hours because it won't but by rotating/repositioning the washed garments it certainly speeds up drying especially with the cover in place. Don't expect the cover to perform miracles but it definitely makes a difference to the airer's efficiency and costs no extra to run so must cut down on what little energy heated airers use so it's got to be a good investment. Air dryers can't compete with tumble driers when it comes to drying quickly BUT they are cheap to run in comparison so if you're not always in a rush to get the washing dry or on a very tight budget then they're an economical aid to drying clothes especially in the British winter months and to be fair a cover is a must in order to get the most from the limited heat given off by the heated airer. Would I recommend this cover? Most definitely. I'm certainly pleased with my purchase. It's well made and I would think that it fits most airer brands as they all seem to be of a similar size so there is very little risk of getting the wrong size. The only complaint I have about the cover is that the price has dropped by about 15% in just over two weeks but other than that it's definitely a decent product which works.

Simple but reliable — gets the job done with no fuss
I’ve been using the Rainberg Electric Heated Folding Clothes Dryer since April 2025, and it’s become a reliable part of my routine — especially for drying baby clothes. It’s compact and folds easily, which makes it ideal for smaller spaces or homes where storage matters. Despite the lightweight frame, it feels surprisingly stable when fully loaded. The heated bars dry items like baby clothes within a day, and while faster drying would be ideal, it’s more than sufficient for everyday needs. I’ve used it for everything from jeans to delicates, and it handles a variety of fabric types well. There’s no noise at all while in use, and it’s very low-maintenance to set up, fold, and store away. I haven’t measured the energy consumption, but it hasn’t noticeably impacted my bills. It may not be the fastest dryer on the market, but for what it’s designed to do, it works — quietly and consistently. Summary: If you’re looking for a simple, no-noise heated clothes dryer that folds away neatly and handles baby clothes and everyday items well, this is a great value buy.

Do not buy! Useless - all the corners/material all split
This cover is completely USELESS, all the corners have already split after 4 uses. and material is fraying. Not very happy with the product at all.

Does the job, but not impressive
Not very robust, which is to be fair, because it is designed to be collapsed for storage. Only problem is warm clothes on what appears to be a convenient surface is a cat magnet. Luckily moggies have learnt to hop up gently now, having sent it flying several times.... So maybe not perfect for cat owners (although the cats love it...). The problem drying stuff is only the very top levels heat up on the long table like shape, so you do need to move stuff around a lot, anything hanging down is not going to get warm. However cheap to run, leaks enough heat to slightly warm a small room while part drying clothes, and down a good enough job that part dried clothes only need a cold "puff" in the tumble dryer. Don't over fill though, or the damp smell will knock yer socks off!

Very effective dryer when you also use the cover
Living in a small London flat, I am using the dryer to save electricity by not using my tumble dryer except for towels. I do not have space to hang a lot of items to dry, and this is the perfect solution in the winter - I have a similar non-heating airer which is fine in the summer. It is not quick, but it drys well when the cover is on and also gives out some heat which helps to keep my flat warm in the current cold snap. It folds down easily for storage and fits in one of my cupboards. So far I am very happy with it - definitely a good buy. Electricity consumption is low, according to my smart meter.

Ripped
Unfortunately the cover was ripped quite badly at the seam on one of the sides. Haven't got time to send it back.
