Easy to use, works great
Simple to hook up and use. I connected a Playstation 2 and it looks great (well, as "great" as a 25+ year-old game console can look on a 65" LCD screen anyway). Powered it from the USB port on my TV, too, so no need for a separate power wart. The only real trouble I had was that my TV (a Samsung) tried to detect what kind of device was connected and spun on that for a while, but that's more the TV's issue than this converter. Otherwise, it's pretty much plug-and-play(station)!

Worked great with two different DVD/Blu-ray players and configurations
This solved a problem we had with older DVD device players and newer TVs. The TVs we wanted to connect our DVD/Blu-ray players to, had only HDMI connectors and cable terminals. This device will allow you to change their AV connections to a HDMI port out to the TV's HDMI in port. We did the with two different configurations of AV ports on our players and both worked great with no loss of video or audio quality. Highly recommend this product.

Works as it should
Worked great to get my ps2 to a more modern TV. Easy to use just plug and play, small in size. Not sure if its the device or my way modern tv but the graphics come out pretty bad.

Perfect for Retro Gaming on Modern TVs!
This converter is exactly what I needed to bring my old-school gaming back to life! I use it to play classic consoles like the Nintendo 64 on my smart TV, and it works flawlessly. The setup was quick and easy just plug and play and the picture quality is great for retro games. It’s affordable, compact, and does exactly what it promises. If you have older devices with RCA outputs and want to use them with HDMI-only TVs, this is a must-have tool. Highly recommend for any retro gaming fan!

This RCA to HDMI adapter won't last.
Criteria for my review: 1) Did it turn on? 2) Where the materials used of decent quality? 3) Was there good sound quality? 4) Was there good color accuracy/picture quality? 5) Would I buy this again? 1) Yes, the RCA to HDMI adapter turned on. 2) No. The RCA to HDMI adapter is extremely light weight and made of thin plastic material. There was a noteable odor coming from the plastic which is known as off-gassing and is a strong indicator that the item's plastic material is breaking down due to polymer degradation. It's clear to me this item will not last. 3) No. The sound quality was lacking; it was around 40% more quiet than standard sound and was slightly muffled. 4) It is tolerable. The color accuracy was slightly diminished and picture quality was slightly blurry. 5) No. Due to the polymer degradation, not only will this product not last very long but this product's design means it needs a power source to function. I consider these two qualities combined to be a potential fire hazard. Should the plastic degrade quickly enough to melt, the wire inside of it may arc causing a fire. I find this product not worth such a risk. This product should not ever be connected to mains power and most certainly should not be left unattended. I tested this using a dvd player and a disc which I know works and looks nice on screen.
