Is there a way to release what’s picked up or do you have to pull stuff off?

Hello, there is no release, you need to pull stuff off.

Can this pick up loose change ?

What an interesting question! So, I just went, pick up my magnet, and tried it on quarters, dimes, nickels,, and pennies. NO, it cannot pick any of them up. There’s a verified answer but I do love it anyway!

Does the magnet head swivel so you can drag over gravel?

No, the head is a fixed connection. The handle goes through a hole in the middle of the magnet portion and is affixed with a nut. You could probably rig it to swivel somehow.

Can this item pick up a iPhone?

Hello, please do not put magnet together with cellphone to prevent degauss.
