I got this pad after trying a 5/8” one previously. While the thinner pad was “fine” this really gives my knees the cushioning and support I need. Nice level of density combined with thickness kept my knees from hitting the hard as a rock mat underneath. Held nicely on my (Manduka Pro) mat, so stability wasn’t a problem. It’s great to sit on too! I find it very comfortable and easy to move around, while being wide enough to accommodate poses like child or puppy with my knees spread wide. If your knees tend to get sore and you need a pad, this is the one to get. Why fool with a thinner pad, when you can get something really comfortable? In terms of portability, I know some of the reviews claim it rolls up too big. I don’t understand: just carry it into the studio along with your mat. Throw it with your stuff in a duffle. Works fine for me. Oh, the included bag is junk. I threw it away immediately.

My knees than you for this product! What a nice, thick cushion that is all the right size. The bag it comes in, though, is so small that the cushion must be rolled very tightly to fit into it. That makes the cushion really want to curl and not lie flat. And the material the bag is made of is not very sturdy feeling. But, my knees are loving the cushion, which makes it easier for me to get into & hold a form correctly.

I put off buying a pad for my knees for years. I'd double up towels and my yoga mat instead. This purchase is like a little slice of heaven under my knees. It is thick and easy to store next to my yoga mat. I use it every day and it makes me smile. I can sit on it for a little extra lift. It makes all my yoga practices better. If you're on the fence - spend the extra bucks on this one! It is the perfect width to cover edge to edge of my yoga mat. It's a snap to move onto or away from the mat with one hand. It's lightweight. The only drawback would be rolling it to bring to a class (which I don't do). It is a little bulky due to its thickness and doesn't fit back into its carrier well. Luckily this is not a deal breaker for me since I practice at home.

The yoga pad has been a great cushion for my achy knees. I'm mid-40s and can't deal with exercising straight on the floor anymore. This cushion is a thick enough that you can work out on top of it without feeling the floor and you won't slip off. Probably about an inch or more thick. Well made. It perks back up after use. I also use it to cushion my knees when lifting weights as well. It rolls up conveniently for storage, however my storage bag broke the very first time I tried to use it. Now I just roll it around my yoga mat to store.

Works great to give me extra padding while I exercise. I even bought one for a friend as well.

First of all, I need to relate that I had a total knee replacement about 14 years ago making life much more enjoyable (once past the recovery stage). No one tells you what a titanium implant will feel like when you kneel on it! It is not comfortable to say the least. So when I returned to the gym about 1 year ago I enrolled in Barre classes which I had never taken or even heard of before. Because of the kneeling that can be involved in any type of exercise class (think push-ups, pilates, yoga, stretching), I was most uncomfortable even using a yoga. mat Enter this little gem! The thick rubber pad is sweat resistant, water resistant, and slip free. It accompanies me to every exercise class, and I wipe it down with a sanitizing wipe after each use to be extra careful. I have not had any problems with this mat and would highly recommend it to anyone with any suspicion that they might need one. Thick mat that protect knees during yoga - works well!

The pad is great and very supportive for knees and elbows. The bag provided ripped as soon as the mat was taken out of the package. Very poor quality.

Thickness / cushioning is perfect and love that it is the width of the mat.

Really helping my knees. I'm unsure why I have such painful knees but this is truly an excellent alternative to having a super super thick mat. So many people in my class keep asking me where I got it. It also shipped SO MUCH QUICKER than expected.
