After taking a long break from the sport, I recently decided to get back into lap swimming. At this stage in life, I was not completely comfortable wearing traditional swim briefs anymore, but I also did not want the full coverage of jammers. These ended up being the perfect middle ground.They fit very well and have a clean, athletic look. For reference, I normally wear a 34–35 waist in shorts and pants, but I purchased these in a size 36. Keep in mind that they are designed to fit snugly, which is important for reducing drag in the water. Once on, they conform nicely to the body and allow you to focus more on your stroke and kick technique instead of constantly adjusting your suit.This is actually my second pair of the same suit. I originally bought the blue version and later picked up this black one after the first pair eventually stretched out from regular use. I swim one to two times per week, and the original pair lasted just under a year before showing signs of stretching and wear.To be fair, I am not especially gentle with them. I throw them in the washing machine and then hang dry them afterward.
