It is as advertised. Works well and is a good size.

Great purchase for an office
This mat is great-great heavy quality and appears quite durable. The only complaint would be how it is shipped. I wish it was shipped flat. It does take effort to unroll the mat and it's ideal to have two people to help do so.

Chair Mat for carpet
Size is great for a large table or desk. Its carpet grip is quite prominent and best suited for a thicker carpet. Also it was shipped rolled up, which required several days of pressure to unravel and keep flat. Plastic is durable and serves well for heavy traffic

Excellent Chair Mat for Carpeted Floors
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I’m very happy with the SALLOUS Chair Mat for Carpet. The quality is excellent and the mat feels strong and durable without cracking or bending. It stays in place well on carpet thanks to the grips underneath, and my office chair now rolls much more smoothly and quietly. The clear design looks clean and blends nicely with the room without taking away from the décor. It also does a great job protecting the carpet from wear, dents, and damage caused by daily chair movement. The size is perfect for a home office setup, and it arrived well-packaged and flattened out quickly after opening. Overall, this is a great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy and reliable chair mat for carpeted floors.

Thin and too flexible. Chair wheels sink into it on carpet.
So this mat came in a roll. I know that's the easiest way to ship these, but I think it should have given me caution. The mat is simply too flexible and thin. My chair with "rollerblade style" wheels sinks right into it and makes divots in the mat, making it difficult for me to move the chair and roll around while I'm sitting in it. The mat is clear and you can see through it well, but I think the side effect of that is the thinness. If you're looking for something with flexible material that rolls out easy, or if you're an incredibly lightweight person, I think this could be an okay choice, but for me it's simply not stiff enough.Durability-wise, I'm not sure since I only started using it. It seems durable enough initially.Overall, this mat wasn't expensive out of all the choices, but I think that's for a reason. The other thing too is even after a week of leaving it rolled out, the mat still has a little bit of the "fried bacon" effect from being rolled up. I imagine I could hit it with a hair dryer or heat gun a little bit, but that shouldn't be necessary. The little grippers seem to work OK.

Disappointed in the long run
Before I start, I want to describe the carpet that I used this for. It is normal residential carpet. When I use a stiff needle, it plunges a little less than 3/8" from the pile surface to the backing of the carpet. When I push it all the way through the backing and the carpet pad to the subfloor beneath it, it is about 3/4" from top of pile to subfloor. So, I completely acknowledge that I used this floor mat for an application that the manufacturer does not recommend. That said... I have been using this floor protector for 14 months. Having used a polycarbonate floor mat in the past, I am really disappointed with this one. It arrived rolled up in a carboard box in early December, so it was cold. I figured that I needed to give it some time to warm up and unroll. Folks, it was several days before I could even begin to spread it out and try to get it to lay flat. It was several months before I removed the heavy books and other weights that I used to try to get it to lay flat. To this day, 14 months later, it still does not lay perfectly flat. It is still wavy, but useable. It started cracking under my office chair after about 10 months, and now large pieces of plastic have broken out of the mat, leaving several gaping holes that the wheels of my chair roll into and get stuck.I knew when I bought it that it was not polycarbonate, but it was less than half the price, so I gave it a shot, but it missed the mark that I was looking for. It may work very well for a very low pile and well supported carpet, but it did not work for me. My carpet is a normal residential bedroom carpet. Nothing exotic or super plush. If you are working on a thin carpet glued down to concrete - like some offices that I have been in - It may work just fine. But you will need to give it several weeks to relax in a warm room before you can use it without weights around its perimeter to hold it down. That was my experience. No kidding and no exaggeration. After it was removed from the box, it did not unroll to even twice its original diameter for several days, and that was with some constant force applied to unroll it.I gave three stars because I thought that it would be unfair to give less, since I put this on a normal carpet and not an office carpet. But to be truthful, I have been disappointed with it.

Fit very nice
Fit perfectly! I have a U-shaped desk setup and this fit great in the space. I have low pile carpeting but it grips well. It stays in place and seems very durable.

better be almost hardword to work
Doing my research, I thought that this would be sufficient for my low profile carpet. After a week, the wheels of my chair have settled into one position and makes it hard to maneuver. I would say that your carpet needs to be almost hardwood floor to be the right fit.
