Real Deal Neem!
Great product! The smell is not pleasant but tolerable, however that's how I know it's the real deal. REAL NEEM HAS A SMELL! The smell doesn't last long so really shouldn't be a big issue. I've use this in my home made facial serum and toner for years and it works wonders! My skin looks great and moisturized. Great value! A little goes a long way!

Real NEEM OIL
Just perfect! The most bitter oil I've ever tasted :)) .. as the real neem oil should be. Only pure oil in the ingredients' list which is the most important to me. I add a drop into coconut oil in my mouth and I brush my teeth and gums with it. It works wonders and it's all natural. My teeth and gums are super sensitive and I have no problems with skin irritation and such. Nature rocks!

omits dandruff. Avoid other toxic brands including Velona.
Only buy TheraNeem as JT omits dandruff if applied to the scalp and probably nits, eggs, lice! Yes, it is smelly-bad but bugs dislike it and the itching scalp will be put to rest if you comb 2x per day and keep using until itching is gone. I wish they make it in 4 oz sizes and larger. We Regret buying cheaper Velona brand to save money: Do not buy toxic Velona Neem even though itโs cheaper as it caused allergies for weeks so far and that company shares zero safety health msds data and will not reply to customers with allergic health allergies!

Seal broken upon arrival, used anyway on my hair
Haven't used it yet, I think the seal was broken when I received it. Update: I mix about 10-12 drops of this oil I'm my shampoo and let it sit in my hair while I am taking a shower, then rinse and use conditioner, and it really moisturizes my hair, and treats any dry patches or other scalp issues. Just be warned that it smells really bad, but it works!

Very effective for rash on feet
Super strong smell, and itโs dark, so be careful on light fabrics. I had small red itchy bumps on my feet called Pompholyx (dyshidrotic eczema). I applied this and put socks on overnight and after 3 days they were cleared. I was super impressed. I also was recommended this by a vet for a growth on my dog. She has white fur and it stained her. I havenโt noticed a difference in shrinkage of the growth yet but will give it more time.

If you have occasional or frequent breakouts this stuff is a Godsend!
I did not buy this oil for moisturizing or a pleasant smell and I doubt anyone who buys Neem Oil buys it for those reasons. I keep Neem Oil around for occasional breakouts. If I feel a bump even beginning I use a drop of alcohol first and then a small drop of Neem Oil on it and usually within one day it is either completely gone or greatly reduced to the point of hardly being felt or visible. If you have never used Neem Oil before do be warmed it has a very pungent odor. Kind of reminds me of peanuts mixed with curry and onions. But it is fantastic at killing bacteria and bringing down inflammation and works very quickly. Unlike over the counter pimple creams, Neem Oil will not dry out or irritate your skin and it is 100% natural. I always keep a bottle on hand now and one bottle usually lasts me for most of the year. You need only small amount, 1-3 drops for most applications. It is very concentrated and a little goes a long way!

It works but it stinks!
There is no arguing the benefits of neem oil and skin, particularly when you have certain skin conditions. Its healing properties are excellent and works fantastic, but there is one hitch. The pure Neem oil smells awful! I tried to endure it but could not stand it for long. The bottle says it could be added to a carrier oil, which might help reduce the very strong smell, but I have not tried it. If you are sensative to strong smells, I suggest you look at other products by this company, such as the neem oil soap, instead of attempting this. I can't even begin to describe the smell of it but it is nothing close to pleasant. If you have a strong resistance to strong odors than go for it. Or find a way to dilute it for use. I don't want to take away from the benefits of the product, but felt it important to warn others who are sensative to strong odors what they are in for.

Powerful anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antifungal skin healer
Actually, I like the aroma of neem, which smells a bit nutty, oniony and grassy to me. Maybe that is because I am used to the very different aromas of Ayurvedic herbs. Neem is such an incredible detoxifier and such an amazing skin healer that even if I didn't like the aroma, I would use it. In Ayurvedic terms, its bitter qualities and its aroma open the doors of perception to a clearer view of reality. Of course, if you are used to all the artificial aromas of room-freshening products like Glade, Febreze, etc (and look those products up on Environmental Working Group's " Guide to Healthy Cleaning" page: you will see that they are highly toxic), then a natrual aroma like neem's will take some getting used to. I revere neem for its healing and purifying qualities and I am using this oil right now on some fire ant bites I got on my foot: it is amazingly soothing and is reducing the inflammation.
