TheraNeem Neem Soothing Skin Lotion for Men & Women, 8 fl oz

There is so much I could say about this lotion that I don't even know where to start!.. But, I want to state what this lotion has done for me in a total of 3 days.I have always had terribly dry skin. I live in a place of extreme winters and dry summers, which makes skin VERY unhappy.I live with a very common skin disorder known as Keratosis pilaris ('KP, also follicular keratosis, lichen pilaris). Which leaves me with flesh on my upper arms that looks like its covered in goosebumps.I used this lotion daily (after a bath using the Theraneem soap, and I would soak in the Neem water left by lathering up the soap in the bath [I read a book to pass the time!]) covering my ENTIRE body from my toes to the bottom of my jaw, (it was used up in 3 days, so I WILL be buying more). However, on the VERY FIRST day I noticed a change in my skin.. the tightness was gone! When I scratched my skin, I didn't see flakes of dead skin flying off of me and into the air.. My gentle scratching didn't even leave scratch marks. My skin felt glorious! Now, for my KP, the bumps are gone....G.O.N.E!!! That "cheese grater" texture to my upper arms is completely gone. My skin feels like a baby's bottom.. lol! I have been driving my friends INSANE telling them about this lotion and the power of Neem Oil (because that's a major part of what healed my skin). Because I am THAT excited about what it's done for my skin.. After trying thousands of creams and lotions, none of them could do in years what this did in 3 days! Also, this stuff is free of acids, alcohols and parabens.. it's also safe for Vegans. That's a plus for me.. putting poison (mineral oils, parabens, etc) on your skin doesn't help it, it damages it.Many people avoid Neem because, well, it smells, just terrible. But, not this lotion, they have scented it with grapefruit essential oil. So, it has a very nice smell, if you like citrus.. if you don't like citrus, then it probably won't smell nice to you. :)If you have a severe skin condition, such as eczema, psoriasis, and KP (not itchy, but it can really damage a person's confidence), you need to use this daily and use the Theraneem soap as well to see results... If you have relatively normal skin, you can get away with using this sparingly on problem areas.For the FIRST time in 12 years, I will be able to wear a short sleeved shirt in the summer and not feel self-conscious about my upper arms.. I will be able to wear shirts and dresses with straps, instead of trying to find it in long sleeves.. I can stop wearing a jacket in 80 degree weather because I was ashamed of my arms.. I LOVE this lotion and will NEVER use another type again! I feel like crying I'm so happy! I can't praise this lotion enough!

I love this moisturizing lotion. It absorbs into the skin very well and does not leave a greasy coating. I specifically look for moisturizers with natural, healing ingredients. This mositure does. I'm also very sensitive to fragrances. Neem can smell very bad. This product does a good job to mask neem's foul odor while providing a soft, light, natural flowery fragrance.

I have always had sensitive skin and am very picky about what I put on my face. This lotion is great! I have been having adult acne/rosacea for the past few months complete with white pustules. It it so much better now. I could tell it was starting to work after the first application. There was a slight tingle on my face. I have been using it for a few days and my face is looking great. I can go out in public again! An added bonus is that it is a good moisturizer. I will definitely be buying this again! The smell isnt your typical lovely lotion scent. It smells like lemon and a mild scent of marijuana smoke. It really isn't bad. It dissipates quickly. My husband has a very sensitive nose and he complains loudly about undesirable smells and he hasnt said a word about this. If you have problem skin, try this, I think you will be thrilled with the results.

This is a really nice cream that absorbs well and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. Moreover, despite being a neem product, it doesn't stink. For anyone who's tried pure neem oil, you know what I'm talking about - this stuff has a pleasant citrus smell, and despite that, it's still effective.Neem is an evergreen tree that has been used for thousands of years in India for its medicinal properties. Three areas where neem has shown promise are acne, eczema, and psoriasis, as well as simply helping dry skin. I use the Theraneem lotion because I have dry skin and eczema, and it works very well for these conditions, even during the frigid Midwestern winters. In addition, I've used the skin lotion on a particularly nasty insect bite that got infected, and it reduced the swelling and cleared up the bite in 3 days.One word of caution - you should be careful not to apply this lotion to your skin too many times in a day - while it initially alleviates dry skin, I've found that repeated applications can result in dry skin as well. I'm not sure if that would be the case with everyone, but 4 applications a day and I start peeling. I guess moderation in all things...In all, I love this lotion, and I think it deserves consideration for any number of conditions.

But if you suffer from Keratosis Pilaris, you should give this a try and see if it works for you.This neem lotion is hydrating AND antibacterial. And by using it, cured my keratosis pilaris on my knees and arms. I suspect one part of my KP was due to not hydrating my skin enough.WebMD & The Mayo Clinic say, “Keratosis pilaris results from the buildup of keratin — a hard protein that protects skin from harmful substances and infection. The keratin forms a scaly plug that blocks the opening of the hair follicle. Usually many plugs form, causing patches of rough, bumpy skin.”I’m no doctor, but I suspect the antibacterial properties of this lotion helped in that regard too. Maybe my body doesn’t need to produce as much keratin if this lotion is already keeping my follicles clean and infection-free.This moisturizer has a grassy lemony citrus scent, which I personally enjoy, but if you find that you don’t, the smell fades within 5 minutes. The moisturization, however, STAYS. It sinks into the skin cleanly and leaves no residue. My body feels like a baby’s.This has become my go-to moisturizer. Give it a try and see if it works for you.

This is a great product for my very dry skin. It does not leave your skin feeling sticky or greasy. I think the size is somewhat small for the price comparatively.

I use Neems soap on my skin and love it - gentle, moisturizing, with healing benefits. I AM A NEEM FAN. This lotion doesn't have the most pleasant fragrance and if rubbed into hands. . . .BEWARE the taste is awful, too. I buy Neem soap thru Amazon by an independent who puts a hint of peppermint (her soaps are hand stamped) - love this stuff (little pricey but so worth it). With soapy hands, I rub suds into my skin, including face but away from eyes, and my skin is incredibly soft and clear with no residue. It's great to rub in after shaving legs - so soft. Anyway, I was hoping this product would work for me.

It is a mix between Peanut butter, Garlic, Cooked Cabbage & maybe onions. It is something that you would have to wash it off after you apply & let it sit on your skin because it smells awful. But I heard that it works also for skin problems also. But my toner I made just smells like tea, so I rather use what I made out of the ground Neem).

Nice lotion smells kind of orangey not oily or heavy. Apply to skin & can use with Neem Oil mixed together for extra skin moisture.
