Really easy to use specially if you have reumathoid Artritis like me. I use it to cut the base plate or wafer for my stoma bag, Hepafix tape, etc. It's worth the investment.

These are AWESOME for trimming your flange!PROS: You can't really tell from the picture, but these not only curve upwards, they also have a slight inward curve as well which makes cutting in a circle MUCH easier!I have arthritis in my hands and my chemo meds make them swell, sore and the skin easily tears so doing anything with them during those times is challenging. These scissors make trimming my wafer SO much easier. The inward curve means I have less raggedy edges to scratch my stoma and less effort while cutting means I don't dread changing my flange as much.CONS: These could be a bit problematic if you have large fingers. The scissors themselves are not super large so the finger holes are not very large.They are for RIGHT handed people only, so if you are a lefty, sorry. Keep looking (unless you are like me and know how to change the pressure and cut with your left hand. Surgery made it necessary.)Overall these are worth the money. Although finger holes are a bit small they will work for the average person and are helpful to us old farts in a world where things are increasingly harder for us to do.I will probably order a 2nd pair for backup. I went through several pair before I found ones I liked and did not hurt me to use. I don't want to go thru that again.The way things are going you can't be sure they will be available in the future, so I'll get an extra pair just to be safe!

I really like the scissors, my only complaint if you want to call it that, is the scissors aren't really comfortable to use if you have chubby fingers like I do. I did like the cut they made.

I got a pair of these in my Coloplast sample kit and quickly adopted them. It's so much easier to cut out a circle with these curved scissors.But I probably change on the road 1/3 to half the time so I keep a full travel kit at the ready. For that kit I was stuck with the anemic scissors the hospital gave me after surgery. I was thrilled when Coloplast made these scissors available separately for purchase at such a fair price. The rounded safety ends easily get through security lines, a bonus I hadn't considered.One caveat: For very thick wafers, expect to need elbow grease. If your preferred wafer is on the thicker side there is a pair of slightly curved vet scissors that you may want to try. They cost only 2-3 dollars more but may be worth it to you. Sorry I can't offer the product name but if you search for ostomy scissors they'll show up.

Works great for cutting Urostomy bags. Would recommend.

The product does not serve the purpose for which it was purchased. It does not have a sharp point nor does it have sharp edges to cut the centre of the ostomy base plate into the desired size
