Works well in my large bags for shopping.
I like the idea of this type of ice when I go to Costco for allot of food shopping. The cubes do not take up allot of room in my bags, as my other ice blocks do, and these are not as heavy.I used this yesterday along with larger frozen blocks in my large cooler bags at Costco and Trader Joe’s. I found this to keep My food cold enough for over 4 hours, although I did have other typeOf frozen blocks of ice. I used Two of these in one bag, acouple of ice blacks in plastic.I live in Ca. And it was a warmer winter day yesterday, also at night it got cold and I put the heater on In my car for the hour 1/2 drive home. (Stopped to get gas). These types of ice cubes did not warm up , but the true test for me is when it’s overA 100 degrees out when I use these. You have to soak these packs under water for a few minutes, the material inside expands,Then wipe them dry so they don’t stick to other items in your freezer. They froze ice cold to touch the next dayGreat for picnics, beach, camping etc

Misleading
This is not actually dry ice. They are cooler ice packs and arrive warm as these weird pellets. Not for consumption. Not food safe.

NOT dry ice--dehydrated gel packs you soak in water and freeze
The title of this is misleading, as it's not dry ice. These are sheets of separated rectangular packets with some dehydrated crystals in them. Soak in water for five minutes, wipe dry, and then freeze at least five hours, and you have ice.I was hoping to be able to cut these in various size configurations, but found I could only easily separate them along the wider channels which separate each group of three. When I tried to cut along the other areas to create individual cubes or groupings of two, I accidentally cut into the packets releasing the crystals, and had to throw those away. They do rehydrate quickly, and after drying and freezing overnight, they were adequate as ice packs. Why only three stars? I'm just not crazy about them. I'm disappointed at not being able to cut them smaller than packs of three, I don't like how they puff up and turn kind of round when freezing (I prefer hard-size, flat ice packs), they don't stay cold as long as some other gel packs I have, and I don't think the material will hold up well to repeated use.

Ok product, but too many sheets in the package
As other have stated, this is not dry ice, but rather a gel that becomes a solid when frozen. We put these ice paks in a cooler to keep food cold. Needed about eight hours use out of it. It definitely did the job. They were still very cold after 24 hours.BTW: I was not aware that you can cut these into individual pieces. Good to know now.The only issue that I see is that there are too many sheets in the package Ten sheets is a bit too many for the average user. What are you going to do with all those sheets. I would say that a maximum five is more than plenty for the average home user. I used three paks and will most likely never use the unused ones (7 of them). Also, these things really blow up like a small balloon. I am always thinking they will burst.Overall, not a bad product. It will get the job done. Just make sure that when you place these paks against food, that only the smooth side of the paks touches the food. The other side of the paks could stick on your food. (i think they even mention this in the instructions).

Easy Ice Packs for coolers
I got these ice packs for my husband's coolers as he is a trucker. Ice melts leaving a watery mess at the end of the day and everything is saturated. These ice packs have changed our life. Follow the simple instruction of getting the packs wet and placing them into the freezer. We place the packs in gallon bags and he just grabs a gallon bag for the cooler. At the end of the day, we have no water in the coolers! It's a miracle!

Can never have too many of these!
We live near the ocean, often have large groups of people and need to take coolers with us when we go. We love using the dry ice in lieu of ice cubes because they don't melt and get food items wet. These work great for us not only keeping our food and drinks cold, but not wet!

This isn't dry ice
This is these weird little packets with I don't know what inside.. Since it isn't actually dry ice, there is nothing further to talk about.

Stay cold for a long time
I ordered these for our baby's food while traveling. They come in really thin sheets. I soaked in water, per instructions. They are not ready to use right out of the box. Then I froze them over night. They puff after soaking in water and there's this gel inside, and that's what freezes basically. Stayed frozen for hours. The only thing to note is you have to maneuver the shape. You can cut the different squares, but it's only adjustable so much to fit your needs.
