Easy to Install and Excellent RV Backup Camera
I installed the Haloview BT7 wireless FHD 1080P RV backup camera in our rig, and it has completely changed how I feel about reversing and maneuvering our RV. Installation was simpleโI had it mounted, paired, and ready to use in under an hour. The image quality is incredible: full-color night vision makes backing into a dark campsite feel safe and easy, and the Bluetooth transmitter keeps a strong, reliable connection even across a long RV length. A lesson I learned the hard way: make sure the camera isnโt in mirror-image display mode. On our first outing, I missed this, and seeing traffic on the wrong side of the screen behind me wasโฆ disorienting, to say the least. Once I corrected it at the campground, every drive home and on subsequent trips has been effortless and stress-free. Now, I can confidently back into tight spots, monitor traffic, and even check around the RV without constantly jumping out or worrying. The system has genuinely made RV travel more relaxing, and I know itโs keeping us safer too. I canโt recommend this camera enough for anyone who wants a combination of high-quality visuals, reliable range, and peace of mind on the road.

Works great when it works
I purchased this system with the side Cameras Aug 2022. I initially had issues with the right side camera not pairing however, Haloview was extremely quick to act and I was up and running with a new camera. During the year I would have various cameras not work and need to be re-paired. An inconvenience but nothing to time consuming. Now I have had the rear camera go out. I have paired it and it shows decent status bars but, no picture. Normally when not paired it would say no signal. In this case I believe the camera is defective and/or the monitor. I question the monitor because I frequently have to re-pair all cameras. I am out of warranty and have reached out to Haloview and not received any response. The problem is, I love the system when it works but I can't keep buying new monitors or cameras every 18 months. Picture quality when working is excellent. Cameral quality is questionable. Installation is a breeze. This is an update to a prior review. UPDATE: I contacted Haloview and they sent me a new monitor and had me return the original one. This did not fix my issue. I still could not get a picture from my rear camera although I was getting a signal. They sent me a replacement rear camera and after pairing, it works perfect. Things can happen, especially with electronics but how the manufacturer responds tells the real story. The support was better than really one could expect.

Fantastic
We installed this unit as a replacement for the Furrion that was installed when we purchased our fifth wheel 6 years ago. The picture quality is so much better. We added the side view cameras and they work great. No problems with connectivity on our 31' unit. I only gave 4 stars for ease of installation. The wiring wasn't a big deal, but setting up the view was difficult because there were no instructions. We installed the backup camera first and it was auto assigned to camera view 3. Then when we added the side cameras, they were not autoloaded to a slot. I had the screen set to view 3 which was the only active display. When I tried to add a side camera, it overwrote camera 3 and I lost the backup camera. Had to go back up on the ladder to hit the button and re-add that camera. I had to write to the manufacturer to get instructions on set up. The two symbols on the tiny buttons are hard for me to read. But now that we have it up and running it is a great camera. When towing I have it mounted over the rear view mirror (not using that with a fifth wheel) to display back and sides at all times.

Slow, Way Too Slow
I recently purchased the BT7 rear view camera and 7" monitor along with the BTC129 side marker cameras. Installation of the BT7 was very easy after removal of my previously installed Hopkins rear camera which linked to an old cell phone. I had previously installed a Haloview 2.4G Wireless 49ft Extension Antenna for better reception on our 43 foot Jayco North Point. The 7 inch monitor was easily fastened to the rear view mirror in my Ram pickup with a Haloview RVMB01 Mirror Mount, eliminating the need for anything else mounted to the dash or windshield. Besides that mirror is of no use while towing a 5th wheel trailer. The installation of the BTC129 was a bit more of a challenge as it took awhile to figure out the wiring with my multi meter. The side markers on my trailer already flashed with the turn signals and I wanted the side cameras to activate with that signal. Installation achieved and my goals accomplished. This is were the problems arose. The cameras all work with incredible clarity. The monitor is brilliant and itโs functions all work well except for the problem that I will elaborate on. The speed at which the system changes views is impracticably slow. Especially for travelling on the interstate highways. First of all, I have always travelled with my lights on and the rear view camera working. Itโs angled in order to see when I am safely past a vehicle when it is leaving the view on my screen. Not always the best view for backing, but I can compensate for that. Before changing lanes I will check my side mirrors and the lane changing warning system, in the Ram, lets me know if the way is clear. I turn on my turn signal, to warn any other vehicles, in my proximity, of my intentions. The Haloview system is so slow, it is functionally impractical. I have almost completed my maneuver when it changes view to the side camera. Now I want to see that I am beyond the vehicle that I am passing. In the past I would just look at my rear view screen and know that I am safely past that vehicle; however, the delay in the Haloview system, is still showing the side view camera, which is incredibly hard to see down the side of a 43 foot trailer along with enough clearance room, and determine if I can safely move over. Long after I have completed this maneuver the rear view camera comes back on the screen. If I waited for all the delays to take place, I would be a hazard to other drivers and have other vehicles cutting in behind me before I have a chance to move over. I originally installed this system to aid in tight backing situations. I wanted the convenience of being able to easily switch from the rear view to the blind side view with the use of my turn signals. Prior to the purchase and installation, I had a spotter have me backup along side of a steel railing, on my blind side and while signaling me, I was clear to continue backing, I was damaging 10 feet of the rear left side of my trailer. I never wanted to be in that situation again. I have researched, and have tried to turn this function off. I have a great view down the side of my rig with the Ramโs side mirrors. I would rather just use them and have the rear view camera remain on for the passing clearance I need. On my latest 378 mile travel day, I hoped, by bringing up the multi camera view on the screen, the turn signal triggering function would not work. WRONG. Other than unmounting the side cameras from the trailer and disconnecting the trigger wires (which I donโt want to do, for the aforementioned reason I installed them) I have not found a solution. If anyone can tell me how to conveniently turn this function OFF, I would appreciate it. I donโt know what Haloview intended to be used as the fourth camera in their system, but I wish they had a license plate camera that would work with the BT system. I would arrange it so that I could mount it to the rear plate when not pulling my trailer, as the screen mounted over my windshield mounted mirror gets eliminated. Secondly, I would arrange for it to be mounted on my front plate to aid in trailer backing maneuver when pulling forward up to objects as close as possible is a necessity.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SUPPORT!
This is the best camera that I could find on Amazon. I live in my trailer fulltime, for about 8 years now. This thing is a must-have during towing and reversing! About 6 months later, I had an issue with my camera which caused it to no longer connect with the monitor display screen. It was frustrating, to say the least. However, I contacted customer service and they were quick to respond. They asked me to show proof of purchase and they verified it and sent me a replacement camera. Unfortunately, the trailer park Iโm staying in does not accept USPS. My package was rerouted to the nearest post office, but I didnโt have a PO Box, so they returned my camera back to the manufacturer. I explained this to the manufacturer, and they had me purchase a new camera and then send them proof of purchase and they promptly refunded me. My new camera pairs with my existing monitor and works perfectly! I love customer service which goes above and beyond! This was a great experience with their customer service team. Customer support makes all the difference, and I greatly appreciate it. Iโve been spreading the word about this company. They stand bring their product.

Very solid unit, extremely happy
I've had this for almost 2 years now and am very happy with it. I have a 23' camper, so the camera is probably close to 40' from the receiver. The picture is very clear and crisp and I never have connectivity issues or glitches from a poor signal. I use it primarily as a digital rear view mirror while pulling the camper (meaning that is it always running), and have the camera angled up so I have a clear view of anyone behind me. I also ordered their mirror mount which puts the screen in exactly the natural viewing spot: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08J3RYDNW As a backup camera, it is also useful. Although I originally intended this as it's primary function, this is now a secondary use vs a digital rear-view while driving. For backup, the value is 1.) not backing into something (obviously), and 2.) it is very helping in visualizing the 'swing' of the camper, meaning, how well I am lined up with the site I am backing into. This was a real unexpected bonus.

Camera won't record all channels
Camera system is ok but with one major shortcoming. It can only record the channel(s) that is active in display. If you choose to have only one to display, eg rear view, then the other channels (side views) won't record. I have 4 cameras and each has it's own setting whether or not to record but it will only record when it is in "quad" display mode which makes the screen very small and busy. I contacted the distributor (in Hong Kong), they said that's is their only setting in the firmware.

Best money spent!
The BT7 camera system is a fantastic product. The screen image is super clear. 1080p makes a huge difference. Installing it was simple and took roughly 15 minutes. Back up your trailer with ease. The image while driving is also fantastic. Get yourself one. You won't regret it.

Great camera
Love having the backup cam on our 2021 jayflight 242bhs. We will be installing the side cams next. Easy setup however your lights must be on to power the unit so during the daytime they cannot be set to โautoโ, you need to turn them to daytime running lights. All very easy to figure out and common sense stuff. Great product!!

Works great
The camera works great. Clear picture on monitor although itโs a little jittery at times. My trailer is 32โ total length. Camera was super easy to install. Remove the old Furion ready mount and install the new mount using the same holes. Hardest part was cleaning off the caulking from the Furion mount. If you remove the time to clean off the old caulking itโs a 5 minute install if your trailer is Furion ready.
