What are the thicknes of these rulers?

The product description is as follows: Specifications: Material: stainless steel Thickness: 0.035 inch/ 0.9 mm

Is there a backing on the rulers. I want to be able to wash these in the dishwasher.

There is no backing on the rulers. I would not wash them in the dishwasher. Handwash only.

how wide are the 12 & 15 inch rulers?

The 12 " ruler is 1 and 15/128 inches or 28.38 mm wide. I don't own a 15" ruler, so I have no idea how wide it might be. Hope this helps
