The It comes very well packaged and all the buckles covered so it won't be all scratched up. The clips open up just like traditional suspenders. And the buckles are Very Easy to adjust.Now because of it's great quality is why it got a 3 star. But when I put them on my daughter with a pair of pants that always seem to be falling down she liked them at first but wasn't a fan of them. After about 10 mins she wanted them off. I believe it's because where the remainder of the belt from the buckle moves freely. And how stiff the leather is, it's not very flexible like soft worn leather would be.So overall it's Great quality but for comfort for a child not sure these are truly what you would want to get. I'll save them for when she get's older but right now (she's 3) she does not like them. They are very high quality (leather) suspenders. They are adjustable, which is great because he is so tall. I tried them on my baby (even though reccomended for 3-8 year old and it fit. (They looked better on my older son just because of the thickness, but if I had the baby in dress clothes that are a little big, I might put them on him for function). My son is tall, but skinny so I have to buy him bigger sizes to make sure he has the correct pant length. These will work great for his pants. Super easy to adjust and snap on. I can't believe how cute these are... I might order one for my nephew! I did recieve these at a discounted rate for my honest opinion, and they rock. My son who is kind of difficult even likes them!
