Good quality of materials, really easy to assemble and to pack away, back into its bag, the overall size is perfect and it really does block out the sun, it takes up very little storage space, is light to carry, it needs a separate stand, or table clamp (I bought a separate stand), but it appears that it will be O.K. for the beach without the additional stand if it's not windy at all, we live on a hill on the coast, so we get quite a lot of breezy days/periods, but I'm pleased that it was a lot more sturdy than e.g. a golfing umbrella, which would have turned inside out and broken in similar conditions. My husband owns a massive Fishing umbrella, not much larger in diameter to the sun shade, it is 3x times heavier at least and does not disassemble like this sun shade, at long last I'm one up on him!
