I make my own coffee everyday and one of the greatest struggles for me is getting my daily coffee fix whenever I'm traveling. I used to bring my entire coffee setup along for the trip if I could but packing it all was always an inconvenience. Bought this before a 5 day vacation and Im thoroughly impressed with the product! I typically use a gooseneck water boiler for some drip coffee but I found that it poured water pretty well! Will definitely bring this along for the ride in the future. Only negative that I noticed is that you can't set the water boiler to default to keeping the water temperature. You must press the button each time.

Sometimes I’m away from home for extended periods. I demand good coffee and the easiest way is to make it myself. This unit does a great job of temperature control so coffee is not burned. It’s the perfect size carafe for one person and it packs down to a tiny size. It also brings the water to temperature fast. Used alongside my single cup drip filter holder (although another friend demands his coffee perfection to be achieved with an aeropress), it allows me to make my coffee quickly and to my standards. This came in handy for making french press coffee while on a long road trip. Heats water quickly and cools down quickly after use to be packed up for storage.

Easy to use and clean great for travel

Did not work at all. Plug it is the display lights up, but none of the buttons work. After a few minutes it shuts itself off with just the power button lit. It will not turn on and none of the functions work. It came set to 110V which is what it is plugged into. Unfortunately I purchased this to use for travel and I will not be back in the USA by the time to return it for a refund. 1st photo is plugged in. 2nd photo after 1 munute

Perfect for travel in order to keep doing our coffee pour overs and tea! Works perfectly. Not as small as I hoped, but it works perfectly. Does not leak. Good value. Heats water quickly!!!

Needed an electric kettle that could travel with me and this worked great! folded down and comes with a slip case you can stuff into your carry on. BUT, alas, the base electric unit failed after just 19 months and now it doesn't do anything. So, maybe check reviews on other units and see if you can find something that will last longer.

I bought this in February and used in on a few trips until if stopped working in May. I plugged it in and the front panel started flickering and I couldn't select any of the functions. I used this for coffee in hotel rooms (instead of those useless brewers they always provide) and it worked very nicely and packed very well so I was really happy with it until I couldn't use it any longer. I especially like the fact that you can select from a wide variety of temperatures so coffee and tea can be made consistently. But I just wish it lasted longer. I'm debating whether to get another one of these or look for a different one. There aren't too many that seem suited for making coffee (most are boil-only)
