It is high quality, uniform in size, generously portioned, and securely packaged.I purchased this particular pumice after sampling a few other brands available on Amazon. The other brands left much to be desired -- they were often dirty, gritty, and inconsistent in size. Although some competitors charge less for a similar quantity of pumice, the difference in price is negligible when it comes down to overall quality.As you can see from my photo, the pot on top (terracotta) is filled with pumice from a similar listing by a different brand. The pieces are larger, rougher, and vary in size. The pot towards the bottom (plastic) is filled with Cz Garden pumice. The pumice by Cz Garden is smoother, cleaner, brighter, and consistently sized. There is simply no comparison.This pumice comes packaged neatly in a sturdy and resealable plastic bag with lots of printed information regarding the product. While others have complained about the Bible quote on the bag, I am not bothered in the slightest. On the contrary, the controversy surrounding the quotation was rather amusing. It was, in fact, one of the deciding factors for my purchase. The pieces are a nice, consistent size—nothing too dusty or too chunky—and it gives my roots the airflow they need. My plants respond really well to it, especially my Alocasia and Philodendrons. It mixes easily with LECA or larger rocks and doesn’t break down quickly.
