FOR THE GIRLIES I am a gym girl who does not feel comfortable wearing the scrunch shorts after some weight gain. For some context, I'm a powerlifter who leans more quad/glute (leg) heavy so it's hard to find cotton shorts that fit well. My problem with womens shorts: if you go up in size to fit your glute/legs, the waist is way too loose. My problem with some mens shorts: if you go up in size, the quad/leg opening is way too lose - you can see your underwear when in a squat. SHORTS PRO: THIS ONE hugs right and you can easily let it ride up higher on the leg to get deeper stretch or better mobility and also let the legs hang at default length when doing cardio (so no thigh rubbing). I'm also able to tie it tighter around the waist to fit me better. The pockets are also deep!!! SHORTS CON: My only con about this short is that sometimes the material feels a bit too heavy, so it does not stay up when you pull the short legs up (to move around better). <--- a bit hard to describe but IYKYK. So when I walk around for a bit, the length of the shorts fall down naturally and it sits at that awkward length of shorts where it feels a bit too long.

Excellent quality. Very pleased. I thought the price was high, but it is justified by the quality. You can find cheaper gym shorts st H&M, but these are thicker and will last longer. Zip pockets are a nice touch
