Love this tablet to peices
Love this tablet to peices. It has a USB port, so I can use my hard drive with it. Haven't found any other tablet that can do that.

A nice enough tablet, but beware of verizon's pitch, and get it in writing.
I usually say pass when i'm offered deals at the verizon store, but i got suckered into this one. I already have a samsung tab pro 8.4, but the connectivity into verizons LTE network with this device tipped me into buying it. Now we'll just have to see if verizon holds up their end of the bargain. The tablet itself is a fine device, it's not as refined in performance as my tab pro 8.4, but it's not sluggish either. The screen is very nice and high resolution, and it has a full size usb port which is great because i can just pop a usb stick into it.I tried playing some 4k video files on it, but alas it cannot handle that. It does handle 1080 just fine however.I tried a bit of dual window'ing, and that worked pleasantly well. Battery life is also very good, and when closed in standby it goes for days while sipping very little juice.I tried 4 cases for it, i didn't like the MoKo LG G Pad X8.3 (too thick) nor did i like the ProCase LG G Pad X8.3 Case (odd flap around the backing)The case i did like is the same brand i have for the tab pro: Fintie LG G Pad X8.3 It keeps things nice and slim and adds that bare minimum amount of protection. As for the verizon end of things...I'm already not feeling secure: I asked a lot of questions repeatedly to the sales lady, and her answers are already not matching up to reality. I was told it would be $9/month for the tablet line(but i'm seeing 10), and would also get a $16 credit for each month because of the tablet for the full 24 months of the contract. Well, i can already see that it's not $16, it's 10% off 4 of the line access fees. So if those go down(and according to the new plan structures they will) i'm going to have to do some unpleasant talking to the lady who made clear that it was $16, not a percentage. It also shows as for 12 months, not 24. I already followed up with one rep who could do nothing and said that at the end of the 12 months i can see what promotions are available to take advantage of...Overall it's a nice tablet, it was $80 plus the contract nonsense described above. I calculated that it would be near free considering the promotions over the course of the 24 months if the lady wasn't lying to me. But in the end, if it ends up costing $200 or less for the life of the contract, i will consider it worthwhile. The tablet is much nicer than the verizon runaround that goes along with it.

Great tablet
I was talked into this Tablet at Verizion, and because I was having issues with my Samsung Tab I said ok... I'm glad I did, I love it even more then my Samsung. Love the built in pen too.My biggest issue is the $10.00 mo charge for 24 mo, and the insurance cost too.But it's a great tablet and does everything I need it to. Exspandable memory SD card I like too.I had had all Samsung phones for the past 8 years, but because I love this Tablet LG VK815 so much, when it was time for a new upgrade on my phone I switched to the LG V10 phablet phone, I love it, much better camera on it to, My only complant with both the Tablet and the phone is the spell check/ auto correct is crappy, but it worse on the phone then it is on the Tablet.
