9096GGW Weatherstrip Seal Full Kit Replacement for Chevy Corvette C4 84-96

I would to bother with these Amazon weatherstripping kits. They are more than likely from China and they are garbage. Watch a YT video "don't but the wrong weather stripping". The video will tell you what you have in store, unfortunately I found the video too late and bought this kit. None of the weather stripping fit any of the places they are supposed to fit and it's so thick doors won't close and top won't go on. Waste of $120. Try Corvette Rubber Co. instead.

1996 C4 base. New solid Targa top.Don't let people scare you. I installed the windshield and A pillar part of this kit yesterday. It looks and fit perfect. I couldn't ask for much better. Yes, it's a little thicker. The roof went back on without any drama and the doors took a little more effort to close. That doesn't mean I had to completely slam the door. I didn't use weatherstrip adhesive because I plan on replacing the windshield. I was just dry fitting it, but to be honest I don't think it needs any. The real trick is to get your tracks clean and opened correctly. No trim rails that have been bent/crimped at all. Use plastic trim tools and picks to clean ALL old glue and any other remnants.

I bought this kit for my 1985 Corvette and I was pleased at first with the overall look and feel of the rubber weather stripping, but then as I took my old weather stripping off and put these on the car it was immediately apparent why these were so cheap.1. Theres too much rubber on the door weather stripping, and the windshield pillar to let the door close. At All.2. The Targa top seals did not fit at all even after heat and stretching.3. The rear seal has too much rubber to close door4. The door seals/ screw holes DO NOT LINE UP and are about 2 inches from where they are supposed to be.Now that i ripped my old weather stripping off and put these crap ones on, I am going to have to spend $500+ on oem products to repair the absolutley HORRID gaps these make and water seal my car. I had a few leaks before I bought this kit, now it leaks everywhere. DO NOT BUY THIS KIT.

These windows seals fit as described but they are not anywhere close to OEM material. OEM seals are soft and playable. These are thick and on the ends they are a hard as tires! I can’t use them. The doors won’t close no matter how much I’ve tried to adjust them. I had to resort to grinding these seals down with a drimmel and even after taking a large portion of the rubber off, the doors are still extremely hard to close. The back window will shatter with the amount of force needed to close that window now as well. I tried putting some lube on them while closing the windows and doors and it helped a little but not nearly enough to keep them.What a waste of time and money I’ve put into them.I can’t return them now because it’s too late.

Terrible. Won't fit and if you do get it to fit you'll never get your targa top or door shut again

I have replaced the A and B pillar moldings. Now I can’t get the top back on. The weatherstripping is so think that the top doesn’t fit anymore.

Targa top was nearly impossible to put back on and even if you do get it on it looks terrible. Door stripping would not fit at all. Didn’t even bother with rear hatch as nothing else fit. Just buy the good stuff from corvette rubber co. even if the price hurts.

Did not adhere to the car, waste of money. Very disappointed

Listen to the reviews on this one. What garbage!!! Installed the driver door weatherstrip just to see if the reviews were lying and ya they are not. Even broke the trim inside the door jamb because the rubber is soooo hard in the corners. No I'm into buying a new trim PC for the threshold/door jamb.Do NOT buy!!!!!
