As a hobbiest furniture maker, I can clearly tell the quality of the build and the wood that was used to build this amazing piece and even the hardware is top quality, weather resistant. The cushions are thick, comfy and water repellant without the fabric being stiff or scratchy like you get with alot of outdoor cushions. It easily and comfortably seats 2 + our 100lb Bernese Mtn Dog. The swing maintains its position (there's no forward pitch when you sit down) and a straight swing path no matter where you sit down. The overall design, engineering, and quality of this piece is simply fantastic.Initially I was hesitant about purchasing because of the price and this sat in my cart for the longest time but I really wanted something different and I'm so glad that I pulled the trigger on this one. It's worth more than you pay and you will get years and years of use out of this swing! Assembly was straightforward and simple (the swing is surprisingly light for its size) and it took me about 30 min to put together on my own. I'll mirror what others have said in that partially threading the screws/bolts until it's fully assembled will help a ton with assembly.I'm a new fan of this small(ish) independent company and have even got a couple of other things they make from their website after having this.
