Great Toy! Great Value!
My older, lazy cat loves her "squirmy worms" as I call them. I have never seen this item in pet stores and even if I did, I know that it would go for double the price that Amazon charges for them. I forget the name of it, but the worms themselves remind me of a toy I had growing up in the 1970s where you would attach it to your shirt with transparent thread and make it look like it was moving and doing tricks. I always thought it would make a great cat toy and lo and behold, someone apparently thought the same thing! The string and the wand itself are a very generous length, which makes playing with your cat easy on your back while standing as well as sitting down. I make the worm hide itself in holes on a cardboard scratcher I bought for her and this makes her go nuts because it brings out her hunting instinct. She also loves it when I make it go underneath a piece of tissue paper. I love the bright florescent colors. I guess time will tell how well these hold up to cat's claws and mouths, which is why it was nice that they give a total of five worms that can be easily swapped out. For now it's definitely a fun toy!

LOTS of fun!
This is the BEST of these toys. If you kitty enjoys playing this way, other versions of this break - the poles are thin wood and break in half; the string is nylon and dangerous, and the "wormies" disintegrate quickly. This wand is sturdy with a black nylon string and the "wormies" stay intact. Also the bell on the wormie is optional, a feature which other versions of this do not offer.

Very sturdy and long - best for keeping your cat in motion!
I love this wand, as it is the second time Iโve purchased it. Our first wand was great until a ferocious orange kitty stayed with us for a couple of weeks and literally destroyed it in two days (after we had used it with our sweet tuxedo for two years without incident). Itโs actually very strong and durable, and the metal clasps are strong and made with quality. I bought a second, different wand to try it out and immediately noticed how much better this wand is. Our cat adores chasing the worms. They do shred a bit, especially if your cat has claws, but replacements can be purchased. We have also attached her favorite strings on the clasp for her to chase and she loves that, too. A+ from us!

My cats (one kitten / one senior) are OBSESSED with this toy!
We have every cat toy there is. THIS ONE IS THE BEST! My cats are OBSESSED with it!! It has provided hours of entertainment for the cats and humans. I have an overweight senior cat that doesn't play. Other than food, nothing will make that big boy move. If he even hears this toy, he will get up and come over to play. He is jumping up on his back legs and acting like a kitten again. We've had the toy for a month and both cats are still just as interested as the first day. It is required that we play with it daily - the cats will bring it to us if we don't initiate it. The fluffy tail moves like a lizard tail and the cats can't resist. The fluffy tail is significantly better quality than other "fluffy worm" toys that we purchased, but just by design the tips do break off after time (it took 1 month for the first one to break off - after daily, heavy duty play). My cats aren't interested in eating the part that breaks off - so it just goes in the trash. It comes with a good amount of replacement tails, so it is well worth the money. We are enjoying it so much that I just bought some for my sister's cats.

Well made toy, Professional Cat sitter approved!
Nicely designed cat toy to perk up my older cat's play. Rod. Heavy duty, more rigid than flexible, nice top piece with large hole fishing rod top, which I can envision making it easier for me if I need to ever retie the string. Soft comfortable foam handle. Personally I like the 2 piece model because it can pack smaller if needed, unlike a longer one piece toy that Amazon had to send in a huge box solely because of its length. The amount of rod that fits inside is fairly long do it's sturdy. If it gets to be a problem I'll just add a dab of super glue. String is thicker braided cord tied securely onto the rod and the swivel hook. It's just a little shorter than the rod. Swivel hook is also of good quality. Has bell which looks removable if a quieter toy play time is necessary. Easy to attach toy. Only concern is to keep this friendly. Make sure children and adults use wand toys with care. If you over do it with speed and vigor the hook might whack your cat on the nose or eye. Wormy toy is fun to see move in squiggly fashion and the plastic attaching sleeve is heavy duty like the rest of the toy. Bright colors. Cats seem to love it. I can see giving this toy as a gift to clients or humane society.

My cat's favorite new toy
I have a very energetic cat that has ripped apart several of his wand-mouse toys, so I sought something that might be better at draining his energy while not having to buy new toys so often. This perfectly fits that requirement. He chases it and doesn't stop until he's completely exhausted and lying on his side on the floor, gasping, while still following the worm with his eyes. It comes with several worms with different colors to keep the game fresh. In the 3-4 months I've used these worms, I'm happy to report that he is still very motivated by the worms, hasn't broken any of them (maybe just a fiber or two if I let him catch them), and often goes to the drawer where I keep them to scratch it, demanding that I play with him. My only small complaint is that the wand is designed to be very long and to have two pieces, that one must put together, which makes it convenient for storage and play, but if the cat catches the toy or pounces on the string too hard, the wand will come apart (I have to put it back together roughly 2-3 times in every 10-15 minute play session). If your cat is anything like mine, I would suggest you to do your best at simulating prey behavior (don't just dangle it in his face), and use a regular wand-mouse toy after every 2 or 3 sessions with the worms, so that he can satisfy his need to bite, chew, and bunny kick like he would on living prey. The worms aren't quite as easy to chew and scratch, which helps with their durability, but I think cats (or at least my cat) do get a lot of enjoyment from being able to catch and bite his toys.

Comes apart with rougher play
This is THE only toy my cat will play with. I have tried every other toy under the sun, and she only likes these worms for some reason. And they're mostly fine, the rod is ok if a little long but defintiely feels durable, the string is indeed pretty tough, the clasp is really convenient. I took the bell off because it was annoying and I dont think my cat liked it which is good that its removable! The problem i have with this is with the worms themselves. The way they are made is little fuzzy fibers are stuck inside a central twisted string. They're only really secured, as far as I can tell, by pressure and friction. Which clearly isnt enough to keep it together if you ever let your cat win the game of chase. My kitty pulled off 2 chunks of fuzz from the bottom, leaving only that central twisted string. She is slowly undoing the worm from the bottom up. Thankfully both pieces were spat out. I dont think this is a problem with this product specifically but just inherent with this type of worm toy of regardless of manufacturer. So that being said, it's an ok toy for use with very close supervision, and the less your cat has it in their mouth the better. If it werent for the fact that my cat literally ignores every other toy ever made, I would probably use something more durable for her to play with.

Incredible durability - would recommend
I rarely leave product reviews, but this wand is so durable in comparison to the other similarly priced options, that I had to give a kudos. It is a bit heavy if your pet enjoys longer play sessions, but to me, that is worthwhile cost for the strength of the wand. The worms also appear to be of better quality as well. Most I have bought begin unraveling immediately, but these have stoop up to a few play sessions already

Versatile and durable!
My cat has broken multiple wand toys. He plays very roughly. But he has yet to break this one! I am very impressed by the durability! Furthermore, I love how interchangeable the parts are. It allowed me to attach his favorite toy to the wand! Additionally, it makes repairs and replacements possible, though I am yet to require any. Worth the investment!

Favourite toy
This is my kitten's favourite toy by far. He loves chasing the worm around. It moves in a realistic way. I love that the stick is long so I can play from one spot, and that it can be stored easily as it splits in two. The toy is strong - my kitten pretty much hangs off the end and it hasn't come apart at all. Great toy!

My Cat Loves It.
Now a senior cat, my kitty easily looses interests in most of her toys. This one she loves.
