Leaf Skimmer Net Swinging Pool Skimmer Above Ground Pool Maintenance - Fine Mesh Net - for Cleaning Surface of Swimming Pools, Hot Tubs, Spas and Fountains

When I first received this skimmer I was disappointed that it was so light and somewhat flimsy. I figured what the heck I will give it a go. I have use it for almost 4 years and because the mesh is molded into the rim, it never came loose until the material failed. It is very light and easy to use. I am buying a replacement and that should signal my satisfaction with the skimmer.

Bought a pool, needed a net. Bought the net, still haven't accessed the pool. I have faith it'll work though.

Seems to be not as strong as the one it replaces time will tell

I ordered this primarily to skim leaves and small debris from a pretty tiny "pond" in our landscaping - really more of a big glorified birdbath. I've used it once without adding a handle and it worked just fine for my purpose. The mesh was certainly adequate to catch leaves and small sticks, and I could scoop up some of the stuff that settled on the bottom once I stirred it up. Although I think it will do what I need it to do, it does not seem to be particularly sturdy. For my limited described purpose I will give it 5 stars.

A friend told me about using a pool sifter to clean hay and other debris from water buckets. Just had to find the right size, and this one works great! Highly recommend for anyone that takes care of livestock.
