You Can't Skimp on Quality
This steam cleaner is worth every penny. It cleans well and I when I see the steam, I'd like to believe that it's truly deep cleaning my kitchen tile. Set up to clean is easy and the best part about the vacuum steam mop is seeing the dirty water in the front container. I purchased the corded model and very happy that I did because not having to worry losing charge mid-clean.

Replaced under warranty. I love this cleaner
*Customer Service update* As promised here's my update regarding my experience with Tineco's customer service. Their Customer Service Reps are patient, attentive and very friendly. I've interacted with about 5 or 6 of them and each one of them made the experience pleasant. The best way to contact Tineco is through the chat feature on their website. Emails take on average 24 to 36hrs for a response. Phonecalls are tricky as well. I think some are located overseas so there is the timezone difference to consider when calling and when you do get a live person they recommend the chat. 🟩 The Chat Is very convenient and quick. They emailed me a return shipping label once I supplied proof of purchase, the serial number of the machine, a summation of what happened and pictures of the damage. I shipped back everything they requested and they shipped me a refurbished machine ( their refurbished machine tend to be machines returned though the machine has no defects). I was skeptical but once I received the replacement machine I was satisfied. 🟩Shipping + Cost Tineco provided a shipping label at no cost to me. The replacement was shipped once they received my machine NOT while mine was in transport as stated. Overall it took about 2.5 weeks to return and receive the replacement. 🟩Replacement Machine It functions well so far mechanically and has no noticeable defects, scratches etc. Perfect condition. 🟩Overall Tineco gets an A+ for customer service! They were friendly and helpful. They also checked with me via email and phonecall to make sure the machine met my satisfaction. **Original Review* I like my Tineco. It does exactly what it promises to do. Its light weight & takes up very little space. Its also easy use and clean. I use it on average 2 or 3x a week. I bought this version because it has a ( nice, very long) cord. I like to go over surfaces repeatedly and don't want to feel rushed because of the battery constraints of other models. I purchased this machine as gifts for family and finally bought one for myself Dec. 2023 since my family like their machines. 🔸️Cleaning Pros: This machine maneuvers easily. I love the steam clean feature. It picks up everything leaving my tiled floor sparkling. Its also wonderful on wood floors too. 🔸️Cleaning Cons: My only complaint is that I do have to clean corners by hand. This machine simply cannot reach those areas but there are newer models that can. Again I bought this model because of the cord. Its now Feb. 2025 and unfortunately just when I was about to use it, the base inexplicably just crumbled and the empty Dirty water tank fell off. The machine is still under warranty. I contacted Tineco and so far it seems promising. I will update my review in regards to my repair/ warranty experience once it's concluded.so far the customer service has been very nice.

Utter disappointment
We have a cordless tineco vacuum. We love it, which is why I chose this brand for a floor steamer. This item does not work properly out of the box. The "auto" mode is supposed to detect the amount of dirt on the floor and the display is supposed to turn shades of blue or red, depending on the dirt level. This item on auto mode ALWAYS is fully blue, indicating no dirt. While that's very flattering, tineco, I am 100% certain my floors are not nearly that clean. This one is a dud, I decided, so I'll send it back. So, I intended to re-purchase and stick with the brand; it's not a big deal to be the one who catches the odd dud. HOWEVER, here are my cautions to consider before you believe you're ok with rolling the dice on this one in the event you wind up with a dud. First, to send it back you need to repackage this on your own; you can't drop it off un-packaged. So, a word of warning, KEEP YOUR BOX UNTIL YOU'RE SURE IT'S WORKING or until your return window closes (which I did). Second, now that I'm trying to repurchase less than 30 days after buying it, the price has gone up about $70! And I am not being offered the option to exchange, only to return and repurchase for $70 more--an item that did not work properly on delivery in the first place! [Which may be an Amazon thing and not a tineco thing, but I'm not reviewing Amazon itself here.] Third, tineco customer service is available by phone M-F, 9a-6p, which is exactly when I'm at my job. Not very accessible and helpful. I expected a lot more from a brand that seems to focus on thoughtful, consumer-friendly features. I regret this purchase and I have lost brand loyalty. I am going with a Bissell for half the price without the features that I wanted in the tineco. I have several other Bissell products and they have all functioned perfectly out of the box. Was everything else actually working? I don't know. It was deploying steam in steam mode, and the dirty water reservoir was filling up in both modes. Was it getting my floors as clean as it's supposed to? No idea. That's one of the selling features but it did not work. At this price point, it should all work. Overall, the features that did seem to work for me: The self-propulsion. It's nice when you're using it. However, it begins pulling itself forward as soon as you turn the power on, and when you're in "steam" mode (not auto mode), the steam doesn't fully deploy for about a minute. So, you're either holding it still and restraining it waiting for the steam to start, or you're going over your hard floors without the steam. The voice prompts. worked fine, but, as another reviewer wrote, too loud. Self-clean. nice feature, was a feature that pushed me over the edge to drop this kind of cash on this kind of product. It cleans itself on an included hard plastic storage mat. However, the instructions still recommending that you disassemble and separately clean the round brush, reservoirs, and brush housing.

An honest one-year-later review of the Tineco CORDED Wet Dry Vacuum Steam Mop
What we love: •We are SUPER THANKFUL we went for the corded version as it will not quit until we are done —unlike the cordless version that has a short run and a long recharge time (more on this later) •The cable is really, really long so we do not even need an extension chord get to all our rooms •It cleans much, much better than your hand-mop •It ABSOLUTELY obliterates all the robotic vacuums currently in the market —we own several Roborock and Narwal Flow robot vacuums and neither comes close to this machine •Even if your floors looks clean, one pass with this machine will make you realize just how much dirt is left behind even from wet-hand-mopping (we have white floors, so we can really see the difference when the sunlight hits the floor while we steam-mop) •It glides beautifully on both, hardwood floors and tiles •The steam feature is what makes this thing SHINE, literally —stick on messes are no match for the steam! •The steam is ready to use within seconds —and it is easy to know when it is ready thanks to the LED color ring •The clean and dirty tanks are extremely easy to remove •The voice prompts are very convenient •The self-cleaning option is a very welcome addition —but when we go a step above by removing everything and hand drying before putting it away •We recently had some renovations involving sheet-rock (if you have ever dealt with that, you know how hard it is to get rid of that dust from your floors) after manually sweeping, we still saw dust. We sent the robotic vacuums ...and still saw some dust. Then, we used this machine with the steaming on and IT DID THE MIRACLE —Yes, no more sheet-rock dust on our floors! What a prospect buyer should know: •It requires that you place it on its base in order to self-clean so make sure you place the base in a convenient location •When using the steam, it goes through the clean water quickly —so you will need to refill the clean water tank quite often, but that is super easy to do •The cable is built really tough so it will not break easily —unless you are super rough with it, of course •This will (unfortunately) not fit behind the toilet seat due to its dimensions •Since it cannot lay flat you cannot (sadly) get it under low-profile furniture •If you are on the fence between the corded version and the cordless version, we strongly advice that you go for the corded version —not only because you are not constricted on the time you will be able to run it, but mainly because (as per the owner's manual) in the cordless version the battery warranty is really, really short, so if the battery goes bad, so does your entire machine with no warranty from the manufacturer After one year of owning this machine it is still running as it did the first day. Yes, it was pricey when we bought it, but it was money well-spent. We cannot wait until (hopefully) robotic vacuums integrate steam so that we can (finally) go hands-free. In the meantime, this workhorse will do. Yes, there is a new version of this item out there, but we strongly suggest that, if you are on a budget, you purchase this vacuum now that it is on sale for it will really pay off.

Great Vacuum but not for lazy people
I did a lot of research before biting the bullet and purchasing this vacuum, it was my first "expensive" machine and I wanted to make sure I was getting a good product for the price I was paying. The thing that sold me on this particular model was 1. the reviews, I read reviews on EVERYTHING because if the majority of people hate it, odds are so will I, 2. the steam function, if you don't already use a steam mop this might not be a determining factor for you, but I have small dogs who love to eat off the floor or lick the floor if they find crumbs and I don't want them to be licking chemicals, if it's not good for us it's not good for them, plus steam picks up a lot more dirt that a cold wet mop in my opinion, and 3. The cord, while annoying sometimes, means I have unlimited cleaning time, and for a slow cleaner, this is essential. The vacuum is great, and does everything it says it will do, so here are some Cons for those of you considering this type of vacuum: - the cord, unless you get the cordless and then if your house is big and not sure if you’ll be able to use it in one go - you have to clean it out every time, take out the water but also WASH IT bc otherwise it will smell like crap (literally) - you can’t vacuum/mop under the bed or couch, if you tip it over the water will leak - if the floor is really dirty and full of hair you’ll have to keep taking it back to the base for the self cleaning mode - you have to keep refilling clean water and emptying dirty water tank (I do this 2-3 times when I’m cleaning) - you will have to replace the brush every few months, & the filter - ALSO it doesn’t get corners very well I personally am ok with these annoying things because it cleans really well, my mom says the floor feels much cleaner and you can literally see how dirty your floor was. I would never use it for “a quick clean” unless it was a big food and liquid mess because it can be a hassel. But I use it every week for a deep clean and love it. Hope this helps!

Just uses water and cleans great
Love this thing! We found our house infested with fleas thanks to an infested vet office. That means vacuuming and ckeaning everything almost every day for weeks on end. We bought this to help us through. We used this on our entire house evety other day. The steam is great for our hardwood floors and tiles. We do our couple rooms with laminate without the steam. Our floors have had zero damage from it's use and our laminate is the old HD cheap stuff. It uses less water than anything else we've used before and yet, the water still comes out black. Our house feels so good after using it. We have an asthmatic cat and frangrance sensitive family members, so the fact it just uses water was the reason we bought it. No expensive bottles of cleaner to buy and no worrying about the smell. Been there, hated that. Cleaning the unit afterwards is pretty easy. It only takes a couple minutes. We empty the dirty water tank, fill the clean water tank, and push the button on top to start the self cleaning cycle. We run it 3 times. Then empty both tanks, rinse and wipe the dirty one, leeave both tanks open on a shelf nearby to dry out, put the roller and extra filter on the stand, wipe the roller area and call it done. If you take care of it and use it properly, it's excellent. It came with an extra roller and filter. Set up was easy, using it is kinda fun. I wish it had a light in the front, but other than that, I have no complaints. The cord is great because when you're doing a couple thousand feet of flooring, the last thing you want to do is stop and wait for recharging. The cord is long and I only need to move it a few times. It surprised me how far I could go. It goes right to the edge of my floors and under most furniture easily. With the steam, I know those edges are clean and the suction is powerful enough to do what it's supposed to do. I'm happy enough that the steamer has been made to work hard every other day and it just does what it's supposed to do. I'm happy using it. If it broke, I would buy another one tomorrow.

First rate!!! Worth every penny!!!!
A bit more than I wanted to spend but worth every penny. We did not want the cordless option in this cleaner. This stores easily after emptying canister. Long enough cord so that you are not running across the room to find aNother outlet! Easy instructions and the dang machine talks to you!! LOL!!! Does a nice job on the floors. Floors dirty fast and without streaks. Does a great job with our new LVP flooring!!

Meh. It’s okay.
Loved it at first. It was cleaning everything and I absolutely love the steam feature. Pet hair, even a little bit doesn’t even get vacuumed up but instead gets caught under the lid. Disgusting to have to pull out. Dirty water tank doesn’t hold much and anything outside of granules of things get stuck in the tunnel and doesn’t go into dirty water tank. Kinda sad
