So good, but I’m gonna be very honest about what you’re getting into first 😭. If you aren’t familiar with Asian snacks, the smell alone might shock you a little. A lot of people say it smells like chicken, pork, taco seasoning, chili oil… or even some say cat piss lol. Now if i’m being honest I see how people could say it smells like the last part..but certain chili oil brands smell like that to regardless. This does have chili oil in it, but anyway after a while you get used to the smell and start noticing more of the chili 🌶️ aroma instead of… that other smell, if yk what I mean.As for the flavor, this kind has a numbing feeling on your tongue the more you eat it. It’s slightly sweet and savory, and the spice level is pretty low. I’d describe the numbing feeling as similar to how your tongue feels after drinking something fizzy 🥤 or eating kimchi. My sister said this tastes like chicken, but honestly… it literally tastes exactly like the name to me, a flavored gluten stick 😭.I also really like the texture, it’s nice and spongy, and this is the only brand I’ve tried that doesn’t stink up the whole house. I really enjoy the red bag this brand sells too, but fair warning… that was the first latiao I ever tried and I immediately learned my lesson because it was very spicy lol. Sometimes I’ll eat both flavors on the side with a rice and salmon bowl instead of straight out the bag because I like switching it up.I made this review mainly to be honest so people actually know what they’re getting themselves into beforehand.

so like i thought they were gonna be good but they tasted pretty gross i think these ones where just made poorly but plastic texture and tasted like hot cheetos and fruit loops of and a bit fishy? overall 👎👎 hope this helped u from not wasting ur money on this find one with a good review

Not how I expected them to taste but tasted good in my opinion and my friends.

I think that the snacks were really good. I askedmy mom if she can buy them for me and when she bought them for me, I took it out of the box and ate a pack and they tasted really good and they’re really good if you want a flavorful snack while watching a TV show sitting outside reading a book and they have a little bit of a weird aftertaste, but I really like them.

Okay so people be like “hm is this gonna be real?” or like “will it taste good?” Yes, it tastes like mala spicy and it’s oily but so good. It also smells good. So it’s 11/10 🫨👏👍🏻👍🏻

Tik tok make me buy it. I would say they are pretty good but avoid buying a value pack like this with multiple packages in them like this one if you are trying them for the first time. They have the same taste I thought they would initially but it has an aftertaste that I would compare to black licorice so I wouldn’t suggest it if you don’t like that taste. The taste is from anise which is a spice they use to make it so you probably could find a brand that isn't so heavy on anise to avoid the aftertaste issue :)

I didnt even eat it all. I opened one pack and threw the rest away. The texture is not for me. The texture is kind of like when something youre eating feels like its gone stail. The taste itself from what I remember was very oily and had a very synthetic type of taste.

Not too spicy and has a great texture! Love this flavor! The spices blend and cut is perfect! 5/5.
