So for $9.99 I thought it was worth a try!! Once I was able to get them into the hammock it was like a sedating effect .. they both chilled out and didn’t squirm. I was able to get the job done!! So I’ll admit, I was taken in by all of the great reviews and pictures of people with their cats hanging complacently from the shower curtain rod. In theory, this looked the perfect solution for a stress free nail trim. Sadly, this was not the case. First, getting her into the hammock was much more challenging than I had envisioned. It’s definitely a two person job. But even once we had gotten past the trauma of wrestling both arms and legs into the holes while securing the straps with one hand, the real battle ensued. When suspended, she was fully able to reach me with her teeth and front claws from all angles. I couldn’t even get close enough to grab her paw, much less trim her nails. Pretty sure I need stitches. This is probably a great idea for a dog. I do not recommend It for a cat. One redeeming feature: it came with a great pair of clippers.
