There's not enough Omega-3 is their formulation to support a thick oil like canola without a large volume of surfactants (gums, etc), so why not just add back the soy oil? Soybean is my go-to if coconut and partners aren't available. **Q: How many servings** A: You have the option of 1 scoop @ 200 calories they call a serving. You have 24 of those. Or you could use 2 scoops for a 400 calorie meal which would use the product much quicker. Of course you could scoop your heart out for more calories. I regularly use 2 scoops for breakfast or snacks. 2 containers a month is required for that. **Q: Is it green?** A: No, the original flavor powder is white and very bland. While not green, it is probably more nutritious than the red and yellow and is not in short supply. Fun Fact. After analyzing hot dogs from 75 different brands, Clear Foods discovered human DNA in 2% of the samples studied. **Q: Does the powdered version taste like the pre-made original soylent 2.0?** A: I enjoy and prefer the pre-made soylent original flavor. I personally find the powder to taste nothing like the pre-made product. The powder is okay tasting but I was disappointed that it doesn't more closely resemble the flavor of the pre-made product. Whisks take up less space in the dishwasher, so super easy meal and super easy cleanup. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ soylent, huel, or ka'chava? *by A***W on January 25, 2021* I've been into this meal replacement thing for about three years now, started with soylent, and then tried huel. and finally kachava. i typically make a smoothie every morning with one of these meal replacements. it consists of the vanilla flavor on all different brands. with water and a tablespoon of powdered Hershey's chocolate. (the chocolate flavor of all these brands just kinda sucks IMO). and I've been doing this for about 3 years every morning. i will break down each brand briefly. Soylent: smooth and soft texture. has the most neutral and adaptable flavor. it is also the cheapest, but taste kinda synthetic, and not quite confident it's "healthy". but soylent takes a 4.5/5... soylent is about 1.90 a serving. Huel: kinda grainy texture, and has a plan and plant taste (not perceptively appealing, although, I can enjoy this taste much more in the long run compared to soylent and kachava), but i feel this is much healthier than soylent. (on par with kachava as far as health) 4/5. hule is about 2.30 cents a serving. ka'chava: sadly i got this hoping i could explore it more and incorporate it with the other two. the texture is very similar to huel, but it's been loaded with some sweetener that just overwhelms anything you do to make a tame drink. (i can't do this flavor every day compared to the other two.) but this is somewhat a bias on my part because I don't like sweet things very much. so if you like sweet smoothies, godspeed. also, kachava is the most expensive for the least amount of food. at about 3$ a serving. 3/5. 4/5 if you like sweets, and can afford them. i typically do a 2/1 ratio of soylent(2) heul(1). with chocolate and water in my smoothies.
