However, she was tested for metal toxicity and was found have metal toxicities. So we sent these pills (50g) to a lab and the results came back with arsenic contamination (0.2mg/kg) and mercury contamination(0.018mg/kg). This is so sad that this product claims to be organic and that it complies with USP standards but still had metal contamination. Needless to say, my daughter had to stop taking this product. **Q: Does it work?** A: It works for me. I've been using this brand for years. I have tried other brands without success. **Q: Does it work to lower LDL cholesterol?** A: I am not sure if this will lower your LDL.
