Does what it's supposed to and gives good volume. I wish they could figure out how to make it so that it doesn't feel so thick or sticky on your scalp.

Works great even with longer hair

I have used a different brand of matting powder for years and decided to try this when I noticed the ingredients were so similar. This powder works just as well as the brand I buy in the beauty store, but it costs significantly less. The trick with this is to dust it at your roots and then work it in with your fingertips. My very fine, limp hair stays lifted for hours with just a little bit of this powder in it. The best part is that if I work the roots up again with my fingertips later in the day, my hair lifts right up again. It's quite fabulous and give my hair the appearance of much more body than I actually have. It is a pain to wash out though, be prepared to use twice as much shampoo as usual to get a decent lather. At the same time, the silica in this absorbs oil like dry shampoo so you don't actually need to wash your hair as often.The reason I took off on star was for the packaging. They placed a sticker over the small holes that the product is dispensed through. The sticker would NOT come off. I spent time I didn't have trying to peel it off and still couldn't get it off. I finally ended up using a pin to poke holes through the sticker. I wish the manufacturer would get a peel-able sticker on please! Other than that small annoyance, this is a great product that I will continue to use.

Even though this is for men I got it to see if it would work well for my hair. I have long hair and ever since getting covid before anyone knew covid was here I started to really thin in places. I've done everything from anti-inflammatory supliments, special shampoo's and shots in my scalp to get it to fill back in. So far so good but it's texture has changed. It is lifeless almost immediately after washing it. I sprinkled some in my hand. It was super fine and almost cool feeling. I rubbed it between my hands to disolve it and fluffed and rubbed it into my hair close to my scalp and outward. It was like "what"?! It was like adding hair immediately to my scalp. What it was doing was attaching to my little hairs as well as my strong adult hairs. It bonded to it and my hair had instant texture and lift!! I was seeing a miracle. I then put in my clip in hair extensions. No more back combing my hair to get the clips to hold all day. This stuff is a must have in my regimen. On days I don't have to go anywhere I'll give my hair a break but I don't see any reason to think this product will further damage my hair. I have an appointment with my dermatologist soon and will get her opinion and report back. I love this stuff!!! Highly recommend it!!!!!!

I got this product for myself and my son to keep our hair frizz free and tame.What I didn't like about it was the smell it just didn't have a good smell to it. It was kind of hard to get the powder out of the container so you have to shake it up and down and squeeze a little to puff it out. It helped somewhat on my hair but not that good I have light hair and to me just looked a little greasy. It did help my son's hair stay put a little better though, the pictures show how it looks when you put it on vs how it looks after you brush it through so now I just use it for him and he really don't mind it, I still say it's a good value for the money.

Works well and holds indoor. Being in the Midwest it tends to be windy and this can't keep up with winds by itself. You either need to restyle or add something like hairspray if your weather is anything but calm with a light breeze

Hair powders such as this are becoming increasingly popular as I see my barber using them more and more. Once hair is completely dry, I simply sprinkle a little of the white powder on my hair and work it in with hands. I have short and thinning hair and am able to gently shape my hair where I want it and it holds without any shine or crunchiness. This product also adds volume to my hair making it appear thicker.It takes just a little more time to finesse than a gel or wax type product but provides a softer, more natural look. Powder easily washes out with shampoo.
