I'm Not a Succubus! Vol. 3

This is not a bad volume of I'm Not a Succubus! but I was slightly disappointed. I'd had a long day at work and am dealing with some family medical issues so I was hoping for something funny. While there is some of the series' bawdy humor, it has more of a soap opera feel in which we learn more about the family dynamics of some of the characters. The school is doing a walk through the town and cyclops Ai is thrilled when Sakura offers to hold her hand and help her with her depth perception problem. There is Tama, a spider girl who seems nasty to Sakura at first, and then we start to understand the issues in her life (and how she thinks a succubus can help her). Hayate's sister is student council president and she is interesting. Nina, the lamia, invites Sakura for an overnight stay and we meet her family as well as learning why "warm persons" are so important to lamia. While it wasn't quite what I was hoping for, the third volume of I'm Not a Succubus! was one in which the series' world is given development.

Another great entry in this series. It keeps doing what you want.
