Belkin Dual-Fit Armband for iPod Classic (Black)

This case from Belkin is a perfect companion for me at the gym. I can now stop using my old iPhone 3G as my backup music player at the gym in my pocket while I'm working out. Belkin's Lillian Classic case can fit any range of sizes due to the stretchy neoprene-like material making up the strap. This in conjunction with the two slots for small or larger arms can fit anywhere from a child to a man with some muscle on him. Huge body builders, don't buy this...probably won't fit anyway. Also, avoid strapping the band down tight if you are working out your arms so you don't stretch it out. I suggest tensing your muscles and strapping down or better yet, put the band on the machine somewhere that does not interfere. Between the two adjustment straps, there is a small pocket that I cannot seem to figure out. I'm guessing it's for spare cord stowage if the cable is very long. It is more of a hindrance to me while I'm running because my superlight headphones keep pulling off. An iPod Classic 160GB easily slides in through the topside of the armband. The cutout does not completely envelop the iPod after it's in, but that means I have much easier access to the hold switch and the headphone jack. There is also a cutout on the bottom for charging/syncing the iPod which is a little too tight right now for the connector to easily fit in. Taking the player out is easier. I am not a big fan of the plastic that shields the iPod itself because it is quite difficult to manipulate the scroll-touch controls for volume and music navigation. Other controls work just fine.

The fit for the classic is tight, but touch functions well while behind the protective cover. Size is good, but doesn't stretch much and may be difficult to wear for bigger persons. I'm a bigger person, and it fits well with just over 16 inch upper arms. 17 inches is probably the limit for this product. That said, I think it's a better product than the stretchy type armbands out there because it's secure and look good. Belkin makes great products and this is no exception.

I got this item to use when I exercise. I read all the reviews checking to see if it would fit me. I have a 17.5 inch arm and it fit me ok. It pinches but I am able to stand it. It stays on my arm and does not slip down. Like others have said, if you put it over your shirt, it will not pinch as much. It does start to get uncomfortable after about 30 min of continuous wear. There aren't many options out there to carry your Ipod Classic with you when you exercise, other than holding it, and that is never fun. I have had some success with working the dial through the plastic. I cannot change the music when I am on the go. The classic barley fits in the armband, I have to force it in. There is two places you can thread the velcro through. I have a hard time threading the velcro through because of my big arms but it works, barley. I don't know how people with bigger arms does it. I would buy again, but only because there are no other options.

I ordered this arm band to replace my previous Belkin Arm Band... which was bought maybe three years ago. (I wore the old one until it literally fell apart.) The updated design & construction of this style is great- much more sleek & durable and I feel like it protects the iPod more. The plastic window is crystal clear, and hasn't scuffed yet. I have a small to average sized upper arm for a woman, and it fits me great. The only small problem I have is the way the velcro band weaves through the loops- it's a little hard to keep it looped together while sliding it onto my arm. Also great in the update - it has a pre-cut slit so you can still charge your ipod while it's in the case.

I bought this after I lost my belt clip one. I like this arm band, it has two slots for different arm sizes, and it holds very securely to your arm. The only down side is that the plastic covers the click wheel, making it awakward/ difficult to change songs, but at the same time, I run in the rain and it keeps my iPod completely dry. It also has a soft back to it, so that plastic doesn't stick to your skin. Good product, solid design, keeps iPod from getting dirty/wet.

This armband was purchased for my girlfriend for when she goes running. She has an iPod Classic (obviously) and this works perfectly for her. The case itself is snug enough to hold the iPod in place while lose enough that you do not need to fight the case to get the iPod in. She has already used it 2-3 times without me and can't stop thanking me for it. The armband itself is a nice, soft plastic and the strap fastens very securely around her arm. The case itself is strong enough yet flexible enough that should the strap fail for some reason the iPod will be well protected from an impact with the pavement. Overall: would strongly recommend this product.

I use this armband for my 160 GB iPod Classic. It's comfortable and light - I use it to workout in the gym (lifting weights isn't a problem with it, and the band can be adjusted), to run (it doesn't slip off, even with sweat), and even on a casual walk or bus ride. It serves perfect protection for my iPod - I keep it in my bag, where it bumps around my wallet, etc and it has kept my iPod safe and scratch free. My only complaint is that at times it is harder to scroll the iPod wheel, but it's really not much of a problem.

I purchased this for my wife to jog with. She has mentioned a couple things: Pros: It does its job and holds the iPod in Cons: The material is cheap and is starting to crack The band is either too tight or too loose and slips down So yes it works, but I think their are better products out there.

Get it while you could. This armband works perfectly and there is no slipping issues.
