I've been using the Razer Viper V2 Pro for a bit since I bought it, and honestly, it's been going really well so far. It's insanely light and feels great for fast-paced gaming. The wireless connection is flawless with no lag that I can notice. But honestly, my favorite part compared to the older version is that they finally gave it a USB-C charging port! The clicks feel nice and crisp too. Definitely recommend it if you want to upgrade your setup.

I've competed in competitive FPS titles such as CS:S, CS:GO, Overwatch, and Valorant for the past 12 years, and tested over a hundred different mice myself. This mouse is perfection defined in every aspect of the word. I bought one and it was terrific, a wonderful mouse to use. So I ordered a second. Took a while before I used the second one - it worked fine initially with a nice soft and flexible wire. But with use the wire started twisitng like old telephone coil cables used to twist. The wireless feature did not work - something must be wrong with the dongle or maybe the communications between mouse and dongle. After many interactions with customer service I learned a) a replacement dongle is not available for purchase b) there was something wrong with my initial setup of a Razer account or with my product registration. c) Ultimately I was informed that the purchase (from Amazon) was not through an authorized dealer so I should contact the dealer for support. d) The customer service is ridiculous. Each sappy email about understanding how you feel comes from a different name. Then you are asked to submit information that might take some of your time to respond, yet the next day or two another email arrives saying that they will close the case because they had not heard from you... e) Razer managed to take an enthusiastic buyer who bought two of these mice and would buy the new update, and was willing to purchase a part rather than look for warranty coverage, and turn him into someone who will likely never buy another Razer product ever,

So far I really like this mouse. Compared to my older Logitech G900 this mouse tracks better, is lighter, scrolls easier, and comes with grip tape. The Razer has two extra buttons on the left side, while the Logitech has two on the left and two on the right. But I found the two on the right side to be largely unusable, so I don't mind. The Logitech is also a bit taller, which I haven't decided if I like better or not. Response is instant and the mouse is light as a feather. For the first time ever I feel like the mouse pointer is reading my mind. The only real downside is that the button to change the DPI is on the bottom of the Razer, making it useless if you need to switch quickly without losing your tracking. But that hasn't been a big deal yet. The Razer software is pretty good now. Much better than it was a few years ago. You can set custom profiles for individual games.

Love the mouse for $60 (when I purchased it). Great nd reliable mouse. Sensor is precise with no noticeable hiccups, size and shape feel good in my hands, scroll wheel is smooth and quiet, and clicks are not quiet but not terribly loud. I have had no issues, but read below for a little lore drop: I had the razer viper ultimate for a while. Eventually, the encoder and rubber sides wore out beyond my liking, so I decided to look for replacement options. I tried another brand, but it had terrible sensor issues that made playing any game that relied on aim a mess. Moving the moude too fast would cause the tracking to stutter and micro movementd were not smooth but seemingly static (movements too small would not get tracked, essentially). It was frustrating. Assumed it was a QC issue, so I managed to get it replaced, but did not have any luck--different mouse, same issues. I gave up and looked back at the Razer and saw that the predecessor to the viper v3 pro, which was the mouse that I had been wanting, was on sale for $60. Even though it was no v3, I settled on the v2. So far, it's been nothing but amazing, especially after my previous experience with the other brand.

amazing mouse. honestly i like it more than the V3 pro. i have both and the shape for this one is more comfortable for me. also looks wayyy better in my opinion. side buttons feel great. same with the front i love the clicky feel and sound. the size is on the smaller side but it still feels great in hand. 1000Hz is all you really need unless you have a beast of a PC then 2000+ Hz may be worth it but in my case 1000 Hz is perfectly fine. the wireless feature is super great, i can not do wires no matter what so it perfect for me. no lag what so ever. the glide is pretty smooth although i would recommend getting after market skates. besides that i totally love this mouse and would recommend this to everyone!

Not a huge gamer but I'm sort of picky with my mouse feel and size. I tried a few different mice and my previous main mouse was the Glorious Model D, both wired and wireless. It's been a great mouse but I found the wireless version battery doesn't last more than a day and it's been "wired" almost full time. Started to be frustrated with all of the cables on my desk and tried to find another wireless that fit my hand but also wasn't super heavy, low latency and had good battery life. From the reviews, the top gaming mouse was the Logitech G Pro X, very expensive but I wanted the lowest latency possible. While the performance of the Pro X was great, the body feel was very cheap and almost like a plastic Easter Eggshell. The body also felt too slick and combined with the extreme lightweight just didn't vibe with me. For work I have a Razer v1 Viper wired, it's good but the buttons feel slightly mushy, so I didn't check Razer for a gaming replacement at first. Later I ended up buying a Razer v1 Viper wireless, and looks like they fixed the buttons, they were very snappy and the latency of the wireless was almost the same as the wired. After such a positive experience, I was going to buy another v1 but with the news of the v2 coming out I held out. From the first out-of-the-box experience with the v2 Viper, I first noticed they removed the dock and there's no longer any quick charge ability. Honesly, this isn't a big deal, if you need to charge the mouse, just plug it in, and use it. With the dock, it's sitting on the stand, taking up space. The mouse is now USB-C which is nice, comes with the same very flexible cable, and the wireless dongle has a nice extender where you can have sitting as close to the mouse as possible (reduces latency). What's the biggest change on the mouse? It's very noticeable of the weight reduction, it's about 12g of difference, but at 58g, it still feels very solid (much better over the Pro X). The body of the mouse is the same as the other Vipers, it's slightly rough but doesn't feel cheap, fitment is great in my medium hand. It is worth noting Razer had to remove a few features of the v1 Viper in order to reduce weight. One thing is it's a solid black mouse, I love the new look. The only indication of any LED's is a very small dot right below the mouse wheel, this indicates the battery charge. There's no other LED's on the mouse so keep that in mind if you're looking for matching the keyboard. Another change is the removable of the right side "thumb buttons". The v1 Viper allows for right and left-handed use, but the v2 Viper only has the buttons on the left side (for the right handed user). A nice bonus is the included grips (four pieces, two side stickers, two for the buttons), these are very grippy type of rubber. While I haven't owned the v2 Viper wireless long, it has great latency on the wireless side and with the light weight doesn't feel any more than my wired mice. The pricing is a bit steep but it's on par with other high end gaming mice, I would choose this over the other brands based on the Razer fits my hand the best and has the best click feel. Downsides? The biggest issue is the auto-installer for the Razer software. I'm sure the software is not too bad but having the prompt every time is frustrating. I often use a Razer mouse for my work laptop and given the security issues, prefer to not see this app auto-execute.

This was my return to Razer after a decade of avoiding them. For those that don't know, Razer had a noticeable decline in the build quality of their products in 2013. Lots of people opted to stay away from them, myself included. I had Razer mice 10+ years ago and found that they wore out in under 1-2 years of use - which I consider unacceptable, given that my Steel Series products usually lasted a minimum of 4 years under heavy use. I have had this mouse for over a month now and I am actually kind of impressed. It's by far the lightest (or second now) mouse on the market. If you are an FPS player and are looking to ditch the cord, this is actually a very viable option. The weight advantage alone lets you hit all those sick flick shots provided you're not a potato (no product can fix that, sadly). Battery life is pretty good. If you are a serious FPS player, you are going to want to buy the Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle (not on amazon.ca currently, you will have to go directly to Razer). Which allows for a 4000 Hz refresh rate. This is comparable speed to a wired mouse which operate between 4k-8k depending on product. You can use Razer Synapse to make sure that it operates that fast during FPS games because it will drain the battery life 3x faster, provided you operate on a 1000 Hz while browsing or playing games where refresh rate doesn't matter. No more excuses or blaming your wireless mouse if you miss that headshot. Hope the product lasts for many years to come, because at the price it is right now there's a lot of decent competitors. I may edit this review in a year or two if I have issues and lower my grade considerably. Hopefully lots of headshots in my future.

Excelente opción si buscas un mouse preciso y con buena calidad en sus switches. Tardé un poco en acostumbrarme por la forma, pero te acostumbras rápido. La configuración es relativamente sencilla. No le doy 5 estrellas porque cuando está en modo reposo y sale de este tarda unos segundos en responder. Eso para mí es un poco molesto. En general responde bien y es más que suficiente con el doble incluido. Yo consideraría comprar el hyperpolling doble (se compra por separado) para ver si noto cambio en la latencia y estabilidad inalámbrica.
