Yes, it is possible to love chalk. I didn't know this until I bought this box of chalk with the chalk holder...that's right, a CHALK HOLDER. Excellent development in the world of chalk that I like very much. Now I don't have to get the moisture sapping chalk on my winter dry fingers and suffer the discomfort every time I want to scrawl something on the family chalkboard. The reason I ordered this Office Square chalk was because we couldn't find chalk at the store that wrote easily on the chalkboard. We got this set and it writes easily, in a bright manner and still erases when we use the dry eraser that came with the board. It doesn't produce a bunch of dust, so erasing doesn't create a huge mess. The holder is easy to use and holds the chalk tight enough that it doesn't shift if I have a lot to write. The price is right, the quality is good and the product is better than I expected.

I bought this chalk because it included the chalk holder! I opened the package upside down and broke a few pieces, at be careful when opening! I was pleasantly surprised to receive this order within a couple of days! Would definitely recommend!

Good chalk. Smooth. I have it 4 stars because sometimes when I would be doing a long line in my board it would kind of skip and make me line look like there’s a streak in the middle, so I would have to go over that part to fill it in. Over all it was perfect for the project needed. And the chalk holder was a lifesaver it helped not break the chalk and also I didn’t get chalk all over my fingers and clothes

Great product for a great price. I needed a basic chalk kit with holder to mark metals for cutting with a plasma cutter. This kit works great. It includes a holder which was a nice surprise. For some reason I didn't notice the chalk holder was included.It includes mostly white chalk with a few other colors. Don't really care about the colors but they might come in handy for certain uses. None of the chalk sticks were broken.Works just fine for what I needed.

It came with everything mentioned. Unfortunately two of my pieces were broken and therefore cannot fit in chalk, i tried but it kept falling out. This also means you cannot use the holder after and inch or two is gone. Lastly, its not completely dustless, however its not terrible as it leaves less than most.

The colors pop clearly on a blackboard and the chalk is a good thickness. Some chalk is too thin to see from the back of the room and some too thick to fit much on the board. This is in the sweet zone in-between where the writing can be seen from the back of the classroom and colors are bold enough to be able to tell apart. White, blue, and yellow typically work best for those who are colorblind, so the colors included are good and in appropriate proportions if you write mostly in white and use the other colors for emphasis.

It's surprisingly hard to find chalkboard chalk in stores. The white chalk and colored ones are bright on my chalkboard, the chalk is solid and not crumbly. Plenty for the price. The chalk pen holder was an added bonus. Works great. Chalk was intact, no complaints here. Definitely recommend.

So this would have been a good buy had the chalk not been broken inside the box. Nice slots for each stick and the holder is great. But I cant rate it very high since some of the chalk is broken. It didn't happen during shipping either. Plus, even tho I wrote on my chalkboard paint very lightly, it's so hard that it scratched the words into the surface. Too much trouble to send back. I just wish companies had better quality control and not ship products that are broken and this chalk is NOT suitable for chalkboard paint. Total failure...
