Game changer for cocktails AND kitchen use
I didn’t expect to use this as much as I do—but this cocktail smoker has become one of my favorite tools, both for drinks and food. First off, the build quality feels solid. The wood lid fits snugly over a standard glass, and the smoker itself is lightweight but not flimsy. It came with a variety of wood chips, which is great because each one gives a totally different flavor profile. So far, applewood has been my go-to for cocktails, while hickory is amazing for meats and cheeses. For cocktails, this takes an Old Fashioned or bourbon drink to the next level. The smoke adds a smooth, slightly sweet depth that you just can’t get otherwise. It’s also a huge hit when entertaining—people love the presentation when you lift the lid and the smoke rolls out. What really surprised me is how versatile it is. I’ve used it for: Smoked cheeses Finishing steaks after cooking Even adding a light smoke to sauces It’s very easy to use: Add a pinch of wood chips Light with a torch Let it fill the glass or container Done in under a minute. Pros: ✔ Easy to use (beginner-friendly) ✔ Great flavor without being overpowering ✔ Works for cocktails AND food ✔ Compact and easy to store Cons: ✖ You do need a butane torch (not always included) ✖ Takes a little practice to control how much smoke you want Final Thoughts: If you enjoy bourbon, craft cocktails, or even cooking, this is 100% worth it. It adds that “restaurant-quality” touch at home without a ton of effort. I’ve already used it more times than I expected, and it’s now a permanent part of my kitchen setup.

Stopped working after a few uses
The fan just stopped working after using maybe 4 times. Tried to find a return or replacement option but couldn’t

Works great, excellent customer service
I had been wanting to try making smoked cocktails at home, as well as making smoked food. This little smoking device did not disappoint. It’s easy to use and worked great. Comes with a few flavors of wood chips. They’re sample size but it really doesn’t take much wood to produce lots of smoke so this will actually last awhile. I brought the Premium kit which includes a large cloche and two cocktail balls. The cocktail balls are cool, however i discovered that one of them had badly blown glass that made the straw inlet too small to take the straw. I wrote directly to Homia and they promptly wrote back. They asked for a pic of the issue and as soon as I sent that they put a replacement cocktail ball in the mail to me. The replacement is perfect. Great customer service! Because of that I definitely recommend this brand over the others.

Doesn't replace a barbecue grill
If people are looking for a barbecue grill smokiness, you're not going to get it with this. What I did was put the hamburger on two paper plates, a smaller paper plate, and a large paper plate so people can see how big the dome is. Fit over it just fine. If you're looking for something to cover a whole turkey, I would buy a bag, poke a hole in it and then put the smoke in that way. Just because the dome isn't as big as some people want does not negate the fact that they can work around that. So to make sure I tested it properly, I cooked some hamburgers on the stove and then put it on a plate and put the dome over it leaving one of the hamburgers out. This way I could taste the one that was not put in under the dome and the one that was. First thing I noticed was not a huge Smoky taste like on a grill. But when I compared the flavor to the one that was not under the dome there was a big difference. It definitely enhanced the flavor a lot. I bought mine used like new and the only thing that had been used was the burner it looks like. You could see where the burn was on the inside of the thing. The other thing is half of the wood seemed to be used from one of the bottles and that I did not understand because when I did it I used just a little bit of wood and I felt like if it didn't work good enough I would add more and do it again. I didn't need to. And the stuff is expensive so I didn't want to waste it. The book that comes with it tells you you can put stuff in a bowl and then put Saran wrap over and then put the smoke into the bowl that way. Doesn't even say anything about the dome. That I saw. Dome is made of plastic. The cocktail balls are made of glass and so is the straw for each one. It's really clever how they have made these. I haven't used them. But I do imagine that cleaning will not be that easy. Definitely will have to have a baby bottle brush or something. Even if it wasn't very durable. The dome isn't actually needed. I mean if you have a bowl or get one from a second hand store that's plastic and melt a hole in the side to where you can get the smoke in that would work just fine. Plus you can always put stuff in a bowl and use Saran wrap. I like the dome and I'm going to use it for as long as I can. I made jerky today and for some reason it didn't have the smoke flavor that it normally has. I divided it out and put it in Ziploc bags. I stuck the smoke and into the Ziploc bag and filled it full of smoke. Let it sit for an hour and now they taste like smoked meat. I've been wanting one of these for over a year. My daughter got it for me for mother's Day. Extremely happy. I would definitely buy it again.

Kinda fun
Hard to make the bubbles, but will give you that smoky flavor, ball glasses are cool looking but hard to clean. We smoked chocolate, cooked chicken breast, and of course cocktails.
