KEVIN.MURPHY MAXI.WASH Detox Scalp Shampoo, 250 mL / 8.4 fl oz

Before I started using Maxiwash I had some annoying dried skin on my scalp. No more!! I really like this shampoo and use it several times a week. It's gentle, leaves my hair clean but never dried out.

Kevin Murphy is one of my favorite lines of hair care. I was turned onto them by my salon and my hair has loved every minute of it. This maxi wash is by far the best clarifying shampoo I’ve ever used. It will take any and all buildup out of your hair. You don’t need to use it often, and shouldn’t because if you use a clarifying shampoo too much you can really dry your hair out. I use mine roughly once ever 2-3 weeks and I always make sure I’m going back in with a hydrating shampoo directly after to help the hair and then really putting the hydrating products back in after.

I discovered this when my hairstylist did too dark of a hair color just 3 weeks before my wedding. (Not hairstylist's fault -- long story, but basically weeks before my wedding I had to find a brand new stylist.) The stylist said for me to get this shampoo and use it every day until our next appointment to strip the color from my hair. Totally worked. And we redid the color to a lighter color. Wedding hair turned out great. Post wedding he told me I should keep using it once a week to remove build up from my hair and that it actually helps the color treatment on hair. It removes hard water build up. I semi-grudgingly decided to follow his advice and do use it about every other week cause the stuff really does work. Negatives: 1) I really dislike the smell of it 2) The container is horrific! So difficult to squeeze out the shampoo from it. Absolutely despise the container. They really should do something about it. 3) They need to carry this at Ulta then I'd be more likely to purchase it more regularly Note: Right after you wash your hair with it your hair will feel sticky and/or matted together. Apply conditioner and it will rinse the stickiness out. So, basically, don't freak out by how it feels after putting it in your hair.

Love this shampoo! I use it weekly just at the roots. My hair was falling out before I started using this shampoo.

Does nothing for my hair

Works great and I love the smell.

Longstanding user in and out of this product. For blonde (full head foiled) hair that is thick, this product is highly recommended. I also have used Redken cream cleanser and they’re both on par. It’s not an everyday use shampoo but great for a once weekly “ clean up” gentle and effective, you can see and feel the difference.

Il prodotto è ottimo, lo uso da tempo su consiglio del mio parrucchiere e ha dato veramente splendidi risultati. Sottolineo che il prodotto aderisce allo standard Cruelty free, per me molto importante.

Die Haare fühlen sich beim ersten waschen damit an als wären sie komplett hinüber und aus Plastik. Ich hatte richtig Panik, doch sobald man eine Kur drauf hatte und die Haare trocken sind merkt man den gravierenden Unterschied. Gibt ihnen einen echten Neustart und holt auch alte Farbreste erfolgreich raus.
