As soon as you hear the high pitched whine, it is much better to replace than to grease (in my opinion).Previously I tried to add the gear grease and they still wore out the original bearings and locked up under the dryer drum.This kit has great bearings - I believe the actual ball bearings are smaller and there are more in the hub of the drum roller.The rear rollers are a pain to replace since you need to remove the entire back panel inside the dryer. If there is a better way, I could not figure it out...This kit was cheap and works great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fixed up my DV45K6500EV dryer *by P***K on December 21, 2023* I have a Samsung DV45K6500EV dryer. After 6 years of working fine it started making VERY loud squeaking sounds whenever it would spin. This kit was $23 so I gave it a shot. Installation was fairly difficult. The dryer had to be completely disassembled so I needed a lot of space to move it out from the wall and take it apart. I was able to find a very helpful video guide for repairing Samsung dryers by looking around on youtube. Make sure you look around under the drum to see how the belt is connected, putting the belt back on was the most difficult part of the installation for me. The new rollers work great, it's been about six months so far, no more squeaking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well worth 2 hours of your time *by K***. on February 28, 2024* Our dryer was very loud.
