I got this to put on the door glass to prevent my anxious and territorial cat from seeing other cats. You should know that the pictures shown on the advert are not true. It is transparent to some degree. You can see blurred shapes and movement. It is luckily distorted enough that my cat is less activated when other cats come to the door. I am happy because it’s much lovelier than the pictures show. It creates a rainbow effect when the sun shows through and the pattern is beautiful. It worked out for my purposes, but if you need total privacy, this does not provide that unless you are a good 2 feet or more away.
