Review: Great toy for two year old. - Great value. Grandsons favorite. Works great. Pretty strong too.
Review: Can go uphill (read below) - The train can climb the basic wooden bridges with some extra load (tested with 5 wagons). The wheels are some kind of soft silicone/rubber and have good traction. The speed is average and it does not derail. The sound can not be turned off, but you can use a tape to lower the volume. Going uphill backwards is not possible due to the shape. It has some issues with the plastic bridge you see on the image. Those issues can be solved with some workarounds: - The ascending is too steep and the train does not have enough weight on the front, so it flips on the back. You can unscrew the bottom and add some extra weight where the speaker is located. It is enough to keep the balance on ascending path. - The plastic bridge did not have enough traction. This is not the train the issue, but if you experience it, apply some silicone glue on the tracks.

A: Yes, you can use it without a track. If it is in the smooth surface, it will be faster, if it is narrow bumpy track, it will be slow. If it follow with more trains, it will be slow, if it is with only one or two trains, it will be faster.

**Q: What size batteries does this set take?**
A: 4*AA batteries are required.

**Q: Who can explain what the remote pairing is?  Both items are in the "A" position ... What else is needed?**
A: Picture six shows how to do. First check the battery. Pay attention to the positive electrode and negative electrode. Use new batteries, rechargeable batteries are not suitable for this train. signal on remote control should aim at the signal on train, or it will not work.

**Q: How many cars can it pull?**
A: Four or five is ok. More than five it will very very slow.

The train can climb the basic wooden bridges with some extra load (tested with 5 wagons). The wheels are some kind of soft silicone/rubber and have good traction. The speed is average and it does not derail. The sound can not be turned off, but you can use a tape to lower the volume. Going uphill backwards is not possible due to the shape. It has some issues with the plastic bridge you see on the image. Those issues can be solved with some workarounds: - The ascending is too steep and the train does not have enough weight on the front, so it flips on the back. You can unscrew the bottom and add some extra weight where the speaker is located. It is enough to keep the balance on ascending path. - The plastic bridge did not have enough traction. This is not the train the issue, but if you experience it, apply some silicone glue on the tracks.
