You MUST check the hardware first.
I read most of the reviews and had seen that there was trouble with leaking. You might need to push those washers down securely so that it sits inside the hose connector flat. Using your hand to screw the hose to the handle is too difficult and DO NOT use pliers .... please seat the washers securely first with your fingers to help with fitting. That will help with hand tightning. Mine worked great.... even without plumbers tape. Water pressure is great for a 1.7 gal shower head .

Junk, made to break, tried two and both broke almost at the same usage time. Non universal connections. Buy the DUO instead.

Great Filter, Poor Water Pressure
The filter seems to do a nice job, and I like the concept, but the water pressure is disappointing. The water comes out too slowly, which makes showering and washing my hair take much longer. If you have thick hair or prefer strong water pressure, this may not be the best option for you.

Summary: the low flow option design is fundamentally flawed and will probably leak.
The low flow option has a modified shower head to achieve less water usage, however the filter and seal on the rest of the unit have seemingly not been changed to cope with the increase in internal pressure that ‘low flow’ causes. The o-ring sealing the filter dribble leaked from first use and got progressively worse. After a few months water was pouring out of the seal and Aquasana initially wanted me to pay postage for any replacement parts. Replacement parts still leak. Terrible design, waste of money.

Helped with Asthma, Eczema and Thick Curly Hair
We discovered this filter when my daughter was dealing with Eczema. She also has long curly thick hair. This product helped her skin, asthma and made all our skin softer and hair more manageable. My sister used the shower and said What do you have in there?? My skin feels so soft!! I recommend. I bought one for my mom who was having issues with eczema and rashes. you may have to get some $3.99 plumbers tape to seal for your shower install. I’m Back to buy a 3rd and 4th one for my granddaughter

PRESSURE NOT STABLE
WORKED WELL FOR AWHILE THEN SOMETHING IN HANDLE AND HOSE WAS STOPPING WATER FLOW . TRIED 2 MORE NEW HOSES , SAME THING I AM DONE. TOO MUCH MONEY

Love this product
My hair and skin feel softer with this in our shower. We have been using this product for 3 or 4 years now and I definitely recommend. Our skin absorbs 1 litre (I think) of water a day from showering. It’s important to filter out chlorine and other chemicals. And I also love that my hair is softer and healthier now.
