I actually purchased this to use as a plant stand/center piece for my plant window. It came quickly and is as described. I did not check my time for assembly as I was doing things in between but it was fairly simple. Would not suggest any kind of power tools for screws into a softer bamboo. The included alan key was enough to put it together. Could easily put the shelves on either left or right to work for you. Fairly sturdy once assembled for what it is. Certainly wouldn't pile 500 pounds of stuff on it but seems like it will stand up to normal use.....and my plants. I'll be spray painting mine in the chalk flat white to match and will try to remember to update pics. Added current photo. I have many plants throughout my home but this garment rack aka plant stand and area was set up during the past year using mostly baby plants and cutting. The stand had held up extremely well during my design and moving it around phase. Tip: You can easily remove the front screw (tape in little bag somewhere on rack for safe keeping lol) and fold the top & 3rd from top shelf back. I'm showing it in last 2 pics with just the top shelf folded back from some point when I was playing around with how I wanted to design it. This will help retain the added sturdiness from having the those 2 shelves and allow you to have 1 or 2 shelves that allow for tall plants if you choose. Those shelves fold back neatly and can allow for more design options.

This has held up so surprisingly well over the last year. It is actually in our bathroom as a flex ‘get ready’ clothing organizer. Love it! And so does my cat lol

This shelf is great to use for smaller potted plants or short plants. For the shelves, I used them for my spider plants until they grew to tall and now for my smaller plants, such as ferns and African violets. I have a couple 4 inch pots in macrame that I've hung on the clothing bar and on the shelf below them are a few taller plants. Then I've placed a 3 bulb clip-on gooseneck grow light on it. Assembly was a piece of cake. Please note that it's an extremely lightweight shelf that could very easily be turned over by a child but it does come with wall mounts.

Perfect for a toddler wardrobe or dress-up station. Our 3-year-old can just reach hangers hung from the rod, which are great for displaying outfits. The shelves are handy for keeping dress-up helmets, hats, and accessories in arms' reach. This is so much better than burying everything in a trunk. Kiddo says, "I can see all the things!" Not suitable for an adult - too short and flimsy - but perfect for a kid. Also comes with wall anchors, which although not necessary for our use, are a thoughtful addition. Docking one star because it's rather pricey for what you get.

I love this! It was easy to assemble BUT one of the screws did break inside of the wood, the pre-drilled hole was slightly off. Other than that, Its up and sturdy.
