It only lasts a few months, and the first part of it to get dirty is something somehow getting underneath the edges. It helps keep my screen clean, and if it ever gets scratched it was either due to my own fault or a cat scratched it, etc. It coming with 6 means it can last me quite a while, and it sticks REALLY well so long as you clean your watch as best as you can during application. It has an edge but its not really that noticeable if you put it on correctly. I can still touch the watch as well rather easily. It can be hard to apply by some people, but with 6, be as messy as you want figuring out how to first apply it- then take it off and try again.
