Great for a grow out tank
Works great for a baby tank. Steady flow and thr ceramic balls really help. Very easy to install and very quiet. About the best filter for a small tank

Works great and amazing value!
Would recommend, great build quality, easy to use, and the perfect size for my 10 gallon tank! I thought it really helped keep my tank clean with its bio filter and was the perfect weight and sound level for my office!

Works Amazing
Still feels brand new after a year. I cleaned my sponge filters just recently and it’s still holding up. It’s working great with water movement on the surface of my fish tank. Rather it be right at the water line creating a flow or as a mini waterfall. My fish love it. Cleaning is simple. Remove sponge and squeeze in a bucket of mixed clean water and fish tank water. It’s never moved once out of place. Also it’s placed inside a 55gallon tank.

Good filter for a sponge and media ball setup.
I was and still am amazed every time I remove the foam filters being every two weeks. To rinse both out. Which takes about a dozen rinse and squeezes before there at all clean. Along with a few soakings. Then I place them out in the sun till Dry. For anyone that raises small fish and shrimp and doesn't want them to get sucked into a filter and be gone. This is one of them. The other I use is a corner filter being a plastic canister with different types of media and filter material with in it. And tiny plastic grates to help keep any baby's out be it fish or shrimp.

Great value sponge filter.
First time using a sponge filter for smaller plant tank. It works well to both filter and circulate the water. Maintenance is easy with the extra sponges, usually swap them out every 2-3 weeks along with weekly water changes. Currently using a 50-100g air pump and it really gets the water moving, the smaller 10-20g air pump also worked just needed more circulation for my set up.

One of the most well-built sponge filters I've tried
I've used a lot of sponge filters in my aquariums over the years, but this is the first one I've actually felt compelled to give a glowing review because it is excellent. The plastic feels strong and just flexible enough to avoid getting brittle and cracking over time, and the ceramic media that is offered with it is excellent quality. I like the fact that the sponges can be run without the ceramic media cup, but I can't imagine why you would want to leave the ceramic out since it just offers more space for beneficial bacteria. The flow through the filter is excellent. I have it running on a tiny usb air pump and that's really all it needs. Since its running on such a small air pump, it is virtually silent other than the sound of the water bubbling a bit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a low-cost, low-maintenance in-tank filter. I actually think I prefer this over my aquarium co-op sponge filters. I do have one minor complaint, I wish it came in a gray or black color instead of just green. That's an aesthetic issue, though. Not worth docking a star.

Not very impressed with amount of filtration for size.
So far would just say stick to a normal filter and bubbler instead of trying this combined one. Did not do much to nitrate and ammonia levels till I gave up and put old style filter back in… does bible a bit. But bigger bubbles so think the smaller bubble bubblers are probably nicer to the fish

They Work
Works amazingly. Have them in my 20g long aquariums and 10g aquariums have not lost any fish. Tanks have been running for 3 months. I have nearly 25 tanks in my classroom 10 are running on these. Highly recommended. I'll make a video and upload. You must purchase an air pump, air hose and a regulator for best efficency. I keep these for quarantine/ emergency tanks at home. My daughter put toothpaste in aquarium I was able to create a fish tank in a tote and add this on there. All fish survived. Update 2/18/25 Highly efficenct on small aquariums. Use flow regulator on air hose. Easy for students/ kids to maintain. Rinse sponge in dechlorinated water 2x month. Pictures uploaded of class aquariums with guppies and pleco, African dwarf frogs, minnows and Asian stone catfish. Tanks are tested biweekly using API. Excellent parameters. I did buy larger size.

Love this product, easy to clean and operate and the fact you have biological filtration too is wonderful. I had to increase the PH and GH in my tank and did it easily by adding some crushed coral in the containers of the biological filtration. Would definitely buy again.
