AmScope HD205-WU 5MP 1080p HDMI WiFi Digital Camera for Standalone and PC Imaging

If I could give zero stars, I would. I work for a school. This company sold us a defective product and will not return or exchange it. For $552.99, there should be some type of customer service guarantee, but there is none. We have limited resources in which to purchase things, and this was a big deal to get. Ultimately this company stole our money. Do not order from them.

AmScope should provide more information. The camera comes with a wifi antenna not shown that plugs into the single usb port on the camera so you can either use the wifi and connect wirelessly to your computer. This is where you use the cd included that has the ToupView software. There is an ssid # that was not included to connect. You are not connecting to the internet only to the wireless on your computer. It kept stopping my internet wireless connection but I use ethernet anyway. That might be a problem for some people. I had to call AmScope to get the password. You can connect wirelessly to your computer which is a maximum of 25 fps or plug the HDMI from the camera to a 1920x1080 or more resolution HDMI 1080p monitor or TV. Then you can remove the wireless antenna and plug in the mouse to use the software that is in the camera. Just move the mouse to the left of the screen and the program comes up. This gives you 1080p w 60fps. You will also need a c-mount for your microscope, not included.
