Great door stopper if you must have the door stopper. We have a mirror behind our door. This strong stopper extends about 2โ beyond a standard stopper. Perfect for my situation.

Nice Extra Length
I have a coat rack behind a door that gets bumped every time the door is opened completely. I bought this stopper to protect the door from the coat rack's hangers, which is does very well. The unusual length is why I bought this one. It's dark and unobtrusive, so it doesn't draw your eye. It fades in to the background fine. We used dry wall anchors to screw it into the wall just above the foot board. Unfortunately, one of the kids who visits promptly decided the door stop was for stepping on. That's a disadvantage for the length--it looks like a step to children. The stopper pulled out of the wall about halfway. We just pushed it back into the wall. There haven't been any more problems. I was really happy to find a door stopper with extra length. Finding it on Amazon was relatively easy and affordable. It's cheaper and easier than fixing indentations on my door from hitting the coat rack!

Long and Strong
We have a large metal front door with a intricate handle that sticks out quite a bit and it has a tall threshold which made it so that we couldn't use the normal door stop solutions. The 6" long door stop screwed into the baseboard and is holding firmly in place and is stopping the very heavy metal door from damaging the wall.
