I read that it could be used wet or dry. I've been using it wet with no problems. There has also been no fall out of bristles. It's softer than I expected. I typically like harder bristles, but it still works fine. I travel a lot, mainly using a large backpack or duffel and I like to keep my toiletries and makeup in a plastic tote. In the past I've had to keep regular sized brushes outside of the tote, but this one fits, no problem. My main gripe is that I don't like the curve of the handle so much. It makes it so that I can't scrub my whole back with one hand, so I end up switching over to the other hand.
