Love this tiny device!
I've printed 30 pictures so far and just ordered more paper. I love that when I travel I can make a mini album in real time without having to wait or crop down 4 x 6 pics to fit. The printer device is smaller than my phone, and charges quickly via the cord that comes with it. It's easy to load and seems to work consistently. The images are not perfect, they turn out as if they are a little faded. They are crisp though. The sticky backs peel off easily. The program associated with the printer is easy to use and you can crop photos easily in the software on your phone. I recommend this printer for fun, instant pics in a journal or mini album where you are not concerned about archival quality, with high color pics, but are just capturing the moment and sticking on a page. I wish I had discovered this years ago! i also bought a carry case for $10

Photo booth for your purse!! LOVE this gadget!
I must say, I'm not one to usually go out on an impulse to buy a gadget but when someone showed me this little thing, I jumped on it and boy was my instinct correct. I love love LOVE this little printer! I've already used it a lot. We're about to move away from our current place of residence, so one of the really great uses of this one has been printing memories for friends at farewell parties. It's an instant photo booth! First of all, super easy to use! Charge it, download the Sprocket app, pair with your phone and voila. I'm using it with a Samsung Galaxy S5 and it's a great pairing. The pictures come out with surprisingly good quality, this does not use any ink so the only expense here is to replenish the paper, but I have found that this will not break the bank at all. I love that they are stickers, I've been using it to create a memory book for my daughter with photos of all her friends and teachers in it so that she can thumb through and wander down memory lane whenever she wants to. I also love how compact it is, it fits in my purse so I can easily bring it with me anywhere I want to go. I did not buy the pouch for it, but I'm considering it so that it is a little bit more protected. I think the Sprocket app can probably use a little work as far as they could add more editing options and coloring options for the stickers etc, but I'm still having fun with the current app, using it to frame photos, add stickers and text before printing. I figure this app can only get better with time and it's already a good tool. Anyway ... so far I have nothing negative to say about this one, I just love it, best impulse buy ever!

Great printer for casual use
I love my Sprocket!!! I reat all the reviews, took the suggestions into consideration and bought one. First, the color issue. I didn't have a problem. I had some pics taken in natural light that came out lovely. I took some in dim light and they looked good too. I can understand that pics come out yellow if your light has a yellow cast or if your room is painted yellow. You should see the pictures i took in my mustard yellow spare room. Let's face it, this printer is not meant to give you studio quality portraits. But I have used all 10 sheets of paper I received initially and everyone who has one is very happy. So some suggestions for use would be wallet pics or special pics of family to keep at work. In addition, if your job/profession requires a picture of a client/customer be kept in a file, this would be a good option. The pic can be stuck right to the jacket and now you won't loose it. My last comment, sorry amazon, is to suggest you look around at other offers. I bought mine here. I did find another location that was nearly the same price but was offering 20 sheets of paper. The same place also has 60 sheet packets slightly cheeper. But the color is limited to black and white.....I wanted a red one.

HP Sprocket for sketchbook and drawing
I really like my HP Sprocket and I hope HP continues to support it. The App for this is really simple to use but they need more options because I have to use a third party app to have more editing options. So the printer itself is pretty swell. Don't expect amazing quality though, you gonna put most pictures though the editor to brighten/darken it to make it closer to the original. Also, dark lines aren't very consistent. I'm currently using this to print comics sections and artwork for my sketch book as reference and in one of the pictures I printed out before editing, it was suppose to be just black and white but the black lines were faded and kinda tinted purplish I think. Very light. In another drawing I printed, I used the editor and it came out a bit better. For such a large picture turned tiny, it got most of the details. Just the black lines were faded/light purplish in the thinner lines. BTW, I would suggest using this app for iOS users if you want to make sure all of your picture will fit in the 2:3 ration that the app uses: ">Resize". It's free and pretty basic in the Apple App Store. Pretty much uses all of the paper and looks decent if you remain consistant. Oh, and you have to be using the latest iOS firmware of your device cause the HP decided to stop supporting those under 8.0 I think. So I'm not sure if the picture quality is the HP Sprocket's fault or the Zink Paper since they're both pretty new. I hope the paper becomes cheaper cause unless it's on a sale, it's about $0.50 per paper. The sticker part is really good though, picture feels smooth against my sketch book and doesn't come loose. So overall, if you just want some fun little pictures for your scrapbook/sketch book needs, I would suggest buying it since it seems like the best out of the other current printers of April 2017. It's very easy to connect it to your bluetooth and the app is simple to use as well. It's very portable and there are two cases for it right now for your basic needs of protection. There is also the benefit that since it uses Zink paper like Polaroid and LG, you could swap between the other brands as long as you keep your blue sheet from the HP set. Look it up on YouTube if you want proof. The only other recommendation I would give is the Kodak Mini Printer (PM-210). The pictures are a tiny bit bigger than a credit card and the quality is pretty good. Only problem is the cartiages as they are quite expensive unless you use another brand like "Pickit" which comes in non-sticker and sticker. I'll include a photo of my Sprocket with the two cases I'm using and a screenshot I printed from Person 5 the game.

Seamless set up, you will LOVE this!!!
I researched and looked at many portable printers for several months, before deciding on the HP sprocket. I wasn’t sure whether I should go with the sprocket or the plus but chose the original. I know that reviews can be biased, as bad reviews can result when someone has an issue with software update, installing paper the correct way, etc. I tried not to let the “it didn’t work” reviews dissuade me from my purchase and I’m glad I didn’t. If you go to the App Store, you will see many complaints about app and printer not working - apparently there was an app issue months ago that involved an update and a reset of phone and printer- very simple fix that hp addressed. I had viewed several YouTube videos so that when my sprocket arrived I was pretty familiar with what would be in the box and what I needed to do. So simple- remove cover of printer, put the pack of 10 sheets of paper in with the blue card at the bottom facing down (this calibrates the printer). Then, on your phone, install the app. From there, the app will ask you which device you have. Select it and it will walk you through each step, such as your photo roll and accessing your social media accounts if you’d like to (so make sure you know your usernames for Instagram and Facebook, etc) Make sure on you’re phone your blue tooth is turned on. I have an iPhone X and cannot tell you how seamless this was. It will tell you when printer and phone are paired. Done! I couldn’t believe how easy it is and - for the record- I am not the most tech savvy grape in the bunch, ha ha. If I could do it, anyone reading my review will be able to do it! Then, give it a charge. You will see a red light. Red light means it’s charging. When the light is green, it’s charged. You’re good to go! If a software/ firmware update is needed the printer needs to be charged 50%. The printer needs to be charged a bit before printing out a picture so keep that in mind as well. I am over the moon with this, I’m so happy I bought it! I also purchased a little hard case to carry it in- and store my papers and charging cord, glad I decided to buy that too. Something to consider if you’re going to purchase this. If in the fence, I say go for it. The picture printed as I expected it to. Clear. Glossy. Perfect to capture a memory of an event or get together or to tuck into an agenda, wallet, card or journal! Love, love, love this!!! Hope this helps someone!

like many describe here
I debated forever about buying this printer. I really wanted one but as a "toy" kind of purchase, it wasn't in my budget. I finally broke down and gifted it to myself for Christmas... and I'm not nearly as impressed by it as I thought I would be. My main complaint is that, as many others have said, the print quality seems very hit and miss. I often get the dreaded line artefacts in my photos, like many describe here. On some pics they're not as noticeable, but they are certainly there, and sometimes they seem to affect the colours a lot. I realize it'll never be HQ printing, but even for frivolous snaps it's pretty poor at times. I have definitely noticed that when the battery isn't fully charged, it's a lot more likely to print faded. It's good to realize as a workaround, but I think it's poor quality on HP's part to sell a "wireless" printer that basically needs to be fully charged to work correctly. You can also recalibrate the film using the orange card from the pack, as each pack is slightly off from the others and will need calibration. Sometimes, these things help, sometimes, not so much. And each time you test print, it costs about $.50, so that's a bummer. I really hope HP can improve this via software updates. The good things: - You can opt to imprint the photos with some hidden information. When you scan such a pic with the app, it will show you some geolocation data and other photos you took that day. It's kind of cool and techy. - The app is pretty nice. I notice it offers a billion little frames but none that look like a Polaroid. Go figure. :P - The app lets you draw on a piece of paper and take a pic in order to create a transparent kind of .png to use as an overlay going forward. It's a nice little feature. I hope they'll add more toys like this to the app, it's fun. - I really love how anyone who connects to the camera can print on it. Very cool for parties. - The unit itself is sleek and light, easy to travel with. - The prints are heavy paper, nice quality, and the adhesives are strong. - The app was easy to install and set up, no trouble at all with connecting the bluetooth. The app finds the photos easily, and my phone finds the printer before I even ask most of the time. I think even if you weren't tech savvy, you'd be able to set this up and enjoy it without much trouble. If they'd just make the print quality a bit better, it'd be nearly perfect! But that's a pretty big dealbreaker for me at the moment, especially at this price, when you could just get a little Instax camera for so much less.

I'd happily pay full price for this fun
I received a Sprocket to try out and share with my family. I'd happily pay full price for this fun, easy to use mini printer. HP Sprocket Portable Photo Printer, print social media photos on 2x3 sticky-backed paper - white (X7N07A) ***** We LOVE this little printer! ***** It's super easy to set up, my kids were able to connect via Bluetooth to both of their phones very easily. Using the app is simple and there are a ton of great editing features built right into the app. You can crop, add stickers and text and also edit the color of your photo before printing. I really love that the Sprocket is so small. It's easy to pack in my purse.. it's not much bigger than my iphone 6s. The best part... it NEVER needs new ink! The Zink technology built into the Sprocket it pretty cool.. you just need the special Zink photo paper. We took the Sprocket on a family vacation and shared photos with some of the people we met along the way. It's really fun to be able to just print where ever you are, right from your phone. I was able to share a photo with a little boy at a local school I visited while in Jamaica... such a special opportunity! So easy and convenient 1. it's easy to set up with the iphone 2. adding paper is just a matter of taking off the lid (super simple) and placing in a new pack of paper 3. printing a photo is as simple as clicking on the print button in the app 4. you can print photos from your phone, instagram account, facebook or a live photo 5. the sprocket will literally fit in your pocket 6. its quiet doesn't require any kind of special attachments and can be used by multiple devices at the same time If I could give it 6 stars, I would. We LOVE it!

Works great
We really like this printer. I like that there are no borders on the pictures as it makes the photo bigger and with the app, can add words or designs, etc to the photo before printing. It's easy to use and love that the photos are stickers. The printer does stop for a little when so many photos are being printed. We used it at our photobooth for a party, and that happened about 2-3 times, but the cool down is quick. Overall, we really like this printer.

Love, love
Love, love, love my Sprocket Recently had a family holiday and we thought it would be great to do a scrap book of the holiday. But knowing that we are the sort of family who love these sort of ideas and then once the holiday is over then forget all about it, we thought we do the scrap book whilst actually still on holiday. The Sprocket was fantastic. We were able to sit by the pool and print out photos and then stick them in the scrap book. The app is great for those fun pics where you want to add borders or little extras (such as a crown on someone, or a beach ball or a snazzy pair of glasses). Takes a couple of hours to fully charge, and one charge does only print about 20/25 photos before the battery is completely dead. However, most people won't be printing that number of photos in one go. We had a bit of trouble getting a second phone to connect to the Sprocket once the first was connected, and whilst it could be found on the bluetooth devices it wasn't able to connect. We didn't spend too much time worrying about this and just sent the photos from one phone to the one which was connected. I suspect there was a simple answer to this, but I've no looked to see why it happened. The quality of the photos is pretty good - obviously not professional quality but you wouldn't expect that (at least I didn't expect it). Comes with two packs of paper, so 20 sheets in all. Additional packs of paper can work out expensive, but again, how many photos do you want to print? I would think that usually you would only be printing a few at a time per occasion? The paper is also often on offer at Amazon so I stock up when it is, it lasts a good couple of years so I don't think any will go to waste. Overall a great little printer.
