Oh Wonder

it doesn't matter what format you buy it in- this is a great album from start to finish.the elements are always there- gentle synths, keyboards, and their complementing voices- so the songs may sound same-y at first listen. but intense listening is rewarded with great tunes that stick in your head. and it's subtle enough to be popped in your player as background music.looking forward to more output from this tandem!if you still want to pursue a Vinyl copy, be forewarned, you might not have a digital download card (mine didn't), and that the vinyls are not immaculate white (which i didn't mind- i bought it for the sonics, not the aesthetics. it's actually a bit charming to have the vinyls a little discolored).

The most amazing album I have in my collection.I have seen this wonderful duo perform live, and they sound every bit as good as they did on the CD version!Every single song is catchy, with a unique beat for a variety of moods.The overall theme of this album, in my opinion, is melancholy.Several songs such as "The Rain", "Hear Hope", and "All We Do" attribute to a calm sadness that is nothing short of beautiful.Other upbeat songs such as "Livewire" and "Technicolor Beat" are treasures that the world of mainstream music is missing out on.I purchased two copies of this album to treasure for life, and I suggest you do as well :).

Love!!! Oh Wonder, for me their first album is the best one so far. Ultralife is good too but, for me, I can put this album on and have no problem listening to all the songs, in order. Where Ultralife I have to listen all the songs I like first and then go back to listen to the others. I’m glad I have my copy now and it works great. No issues

I'm flabbergasted that this team is not more known. An album of this quality doesn't come along everyday. The songcraft is superb and the music is sublime. I am a huge fan of Turner Classic Movies and a few months ago they were doing a montage of actors with Technicolour Beat playing in the background. It blew me away and I immediately started typing the words hoping I'd get a hit (thank goodness for YouTube)! The song and group came up and I have been happily listening ever since. Oh Wonderful Surprise!

When I got the CD the sticker on it advertised songs from a Soundgarden live album. It highlighted songs like Black Hole Sun and Fell On Black Days. I did not know that Oh Wonder did Soundgarden covers. LOL Otherwise the album is as normal. If you see the plastic wrapping with the sticker it is just that the wrapping is incorrect, you have the right CD.

I hardly ever buy full albums but I just had to hear more of their songs. Great band. I'm excited for that their next album comes out in June!!

Amazing! Love their sound, the CD is so happy and catchy. Only issue is the CD case came damaged, the little teeth inside that hold the CD in place were all broken, so the CD was loose in the case. But that's a fault of the seller, not the band, and the disc wasn't damaged so I still get to enjoy the awesome music.

First the album was exactly what I wanted. Original distribution. For those who may not know, Oh Wonder are fabulous-if you like excellent soft pop, great compositions and production along with, above all, wonderful vocals and musicianship!

I heard a couple of the songs on tv shows and decided to get the album, I was not disappointed.

This vinyl is excellent! There was no crackling at all, and the album itself is amazing. Very nice music to either leave in the background, or to sit and truly listen to. Definitely recommended.

Lovely music, could listen to it all day

Wunderschöne Songs, melodieverliebt, sanft groovend, stilistisch ähnlich, dennoch sehr abwechslungsreich im Bereich Pop, Singersongwriter und Elektro. Alles ist sehr relaxed arrangiert und die Refrains "hooken". Auf der Platte ist kein durchhängender Song.
