This product helped me tremendously, especially to identify the root cause of all of my awful "autoimmune" symptoms. That cause for myself and millions of other suffering people is the EBV virus, as well as CMV. I must have at least 200 supplements hanging around here. Some, I've had for years, some just because they were recommended on my journey of the last 10 years. This product is basically a fatty acid, which is able to bind to the cells of the EBV virus, which is also a fatty cell. Once bound, it begins to break down the cellular wall of the virus, attacking it, rendering it to a much weaker condition. The virus cell then releases neurotoxins into the bloodstream which is going to make a person feel really, really bad. That is what happened to me. My hands and feet, my whole body, really, became extremely inflamed from the releasing of the toxins, which then pass from your body, (out the exhaust pipe). Yeah, I had a really bad night. Among a couple more. And then I knew that I was on the right track. And then I started feeling better. And better and better. It's a process. Why this happened is because I took a small handful of the stuff, because I have been so frustrated for all of these years and all of these "specialist" doctors (whom really don't know much about mystery illness). I did this basically by accident. And now, a week later, I am much more able to take more of these capsules a day. And, as a huge bonus, I am finally beginning to heal. I am also taking other supplements recommended by the book "Medical Medium", bought from Amazon (thank you Amazon!) and changing my diet and the way I have been looking at things. I had to, for this virus was slowly, through a very torturous process, killing me. I am now getting my life back, really smiling and darn near crying as I write this. Monolaurin kills all kinds of microbes. With all the garbage we come in contact with, I just think it makes sense to keep the little rascals at bay. And on the rare occasions I feel like I might be coming down with something, I take as many as 4 every 4 hours and it knocks it right out. Now, they recommend 2/day and, possibly, dosing as I do can have side effects. I've never experienced any, but I am not suggesting that anyone take more than the recommended dosage. You can check Web MD or any of the many sites that discuss dosages and side effects and such. I only gave my example as a demonstration of its efficacy in my experience.

It's ridiculous how helpful this supplement is and how unknown it is. My family doctor (M.D.) sent me to a prior colleage who had gone Naturopath for help with chronic recurring EBV. I was just getting so frustrating with this virus coming back and wiping me out for months at a time. Anyway, the Naturopath suggested this (amongst other things) while I was deep into a relapse and hello....I got well! Not only did I get well, I herxed after the first few days (this is a severe reaction to the rapid die off of the virus or bacteria - had previously with Lyme Disease so knew what was going on -- you feel MUCH worse briefly). Anyway, I got better. Some months later I had run out and caught something from one of my kids - I felt deathly ill after the first 24 hours and asked my husband to rush out and get a bottle and I megadosed on it and again, got well - no need for antibiotics, back to work after 2 days. It's just amazing. I don't know if it works as well on people who are otherwise unhealthy - like poor diet or other health complications - but I'm very impressed. I also gave it to my daughter when she got a respiratory illness and although she needed steroids for her breathing, we avoided antibiotics on top of that. Even her doctor (M.D.) said she was "on the fence" about rxing antibiotics and I said I was fine with holding off a few days to see and so glad I did. This is an awesome supplement!!

I've battled with fatigue for over 7 months. My blood work came back with high levels of EBV/mono. My doctor basically told me "there's nothing we can do... just wait it out." The fatigue and brain fog were so severe and unrelenting that I was desperate to try anything that might ease the exhaustion. I couldn't think or perform at my job or socialize - it felt like my head was in a massive fog and I'd lost all concentration and sharpness. I tried multiple supplements (liposomal glutathione, NADH + CoQ10, teas/tinctures, shilajit... the list goes on). Nothing was working and I was fed up with spending money on supplements. I came across info on Monolaurin and the reviews seemed too good to be true. That being said, I figured the price wasn't too high and I might as well give it one last shot. ...IT WORKS! I finally found a supplement that helps!! Within a day of taking monolaurin (one in the morning and one at night) I felt the brain fog lift. Over the next week I was able to function much better without having to take multiple naps throughout the day. I'm now up to 4-5 monolaurin supps per day. I haven't felt this good in months. I hope it keeps working and I'll be able to slowly taper off over the next few weeks.

I'm not to sure what it's doing for me to be honest , I do know it caused facial flushing for me. But I still continue to try and see after i take it all.Update: I'm pretty sure this stuff keeps me going and safe from worse colds.. I've been able to stay away from 3 colds with 4 kids. I think that's a win. So great for health..wish it wasn't so expensive though.
