Ubiquinol is a more readily absorbed (up to 100%) than the more common CoQ10 Ubiquinone.
I have been using Heathy Origins Ubiquinol 200mg for about 10 years following a double heart bypass. My surgeon recommended that I take CoQ10 daily, and as a trained Scientist/Engineer I realized that the commonest form of CoQ10 is Ubuquinone (for the chemists among you, this is a ketone from the same family as acetone). Ketones are not absorbed by human metabolism and the body needs to re-work this compound to convert it to an member of the alcohol family (thus, Ubiquinol, same family as the more familiar Ethanol), and thus readily absorbable and usable by humans. Healthy Origins Ubiquinol removes this re-working step (which is about 70% efficient from memory) by providing the alcohol version of CoQ10 which is over 95% absorbable.

Excellent for the heart
I love healthy orgind I think ubiquinol is a great product and great quality . ubiwuinol is great for the heart and has made s difference in my heart dtstu the unfortunate side is that it is very expensive and I've reached a point in my life it is no longer affordable biy I am hteatful I was anblr yo take it for the past15 years

Quality brand
I buy this band of ubiquinol on a regular basis. My husband and I both take 200 mg. a day, so the large bottle is cost effective for us.

Excellent product but since the big price increase, others are more affordable

The best out there
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This ubiquinol is the best according to my cardiologist. Anyone over 50 should be taking this supplement for a healthy heart. For best absorption, I recommend chewing it, then just toss the capsule. Your heart will thank you. My heart sure did!!!
